I have had some very disappointing trips back and forth to dealerships, all with the same outcome, negative. My credit is not good, but not horrible and I needed a car. I called Sherman Dodge because of an ad in the paper I saw, I spoke with a customer service rep. named Steve, he was knowledgeable and very helpful. He set me up with an appointment with the VIP manager, Mike Kuhn, when I got there I can not believe how quickly everything was expedited. They did not tell me a bunch of lies and I drove home in my Dodge Caliber. I would highly recommend this dealership for any of your car needs, and I will be back for my next car as well. I went in to buy a pre-owned vehicle because i didn't have much money to spend. Turned out that with little money I had and the car I was driving I was able to purchase a BRAND NEW 2010 Jeep Commander AN have much money to spend. Ryan, the guy I spoke to on the phone, was very helpful and had a very relaxed and calm voice which made him seem like he was on my side. I went in to buy a new van. I was sure of the model, color and options and when I told the sales person what I wanted, they never hesitated. Within minutes I was able to take the actual car I bought ou color and options and when I told the sales person what I wanted, they never hesitated. Joe Perone and Sam Hamden are crooks. They promised to get me a 2nd key for my 2009 Journey and a owners manual. Now they tell me I have to pay for it. They sold me a Worst car dealer ever. They have friendly personable salesman, but thats about the only good thing I have to say about them. They sold me a used car, a 2000 Saab 9-5. They didn't know anything about the car (the salesman assured me the car was naturally aspirated, after I shared concerns over the reliability of a car with a turbo on it... turns out he lied, the car is a turbo). They said it was a one owner car that had been serviced regularly, and was in good shape. I have spent as much money fixing the car as I did buying it. I have owned the car for 4 months and this is all the work I have had to get done: new coolant hoses new ENGINE (yes a whole new friggin engine) new front and rear brakes new tires new front axle new front sway bar links new radiator new belts new AC compressor Oh, and all of this should be covered under warranty right?? WRONG... they claim that only certain parts of the power train are covered under the power train warranty. When I first brought the car in, because it was having issues with the cooling system... they ignored it, and told me the car was fine... even though the coolant pump had failed... which caused me to have to get a whole new engine (they always fail to catch problems before it is too late... and the repair becomes a costly one). When the engine that came in the car failed... they claimed that the failure was caused by a coolant pump... which surprise surprise isn't covered under warranty. These guys are the WORST. Don't buy a thing from them. More
