I have driven an SUV for nearly 20 years -- from the Ford Explorer to the Volvo XC 90 to the Mercedes Benz ML 350. When my Mercedes Benz was totaled in March, any other option besides another Mercedes Benz w Explorer to the Volvo XC 90 to the Mercedes Benz ML 350. When my Mercedes Benz was totaled in March, any other option besides another Mercedes Benz was out of the question for me. That is, until I experienced the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. This automobile is in a class by itself. It offers an incomparable driving experience as well as the safety, security and features I thought were exclusive to the Benz. In many ways, the Jeep experience far exceeds the Benz SUV. Likewise, the customer care I received from Zack Segreti and Ron Collins throughout the entire purchase was second to none. Buying a new car is a long, frustrating process -- especially for some like me with very little patience for for pushy sales people, negotiating a deal, completing paperwork, selecting color, options, blah, blah, blah. But every question or concern I had was addressed with the patience and expertise you expect from a dealer who understands you are looking for a long-term investment in high quality transportation. Mr. Segreti and Mr. Collins appreciated my needs, respected my terms, stayed on top of this purchase, and stayed in touch with me until I had a automobile I was happy with and terms I could afford. Thank you Zack. Thank you Ron. Thank you Sherman! V. Pyatt Customer #255149 More
We have Never been treated so poorly at a dealership, we found the car we wanted on-line and then called the dealership. They were so eager for us to come in and look at the vehicle in person, so we did. It found the car we wanted on-line and then called the dealership. They were so eager for us to come in and look at the vehicle in person, so we did. It was the car we wanted, so we then wanted to make a purchase at the offer that was stated on their web-site or lower. That's when everything changed, we actually paid ALOT more than what was stated on the web-site. This dealership is out of control, they made so many promises and told so many lies to us. I have purchased many Jeep Cherokee's in my lifetime and have never encountered service like this. I, in the future will have an open mind on what make of a vehicle I will purchase, I cannot purchase another Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep in the future do to the people that work for them. I purchased a 2013 Cherokee, that was a Demo with around 5700 ml on it, they promised my warranty would start at 5700 ml (lie)! I then, two days after my purchase which was on a Friday drove to FL and noticed my radio was staticy. They sold this vehicle to me with a broken antenna, I paid over $200.00 to have it fixed in FL. I called Jerry Skiba to let him know and he laughed at me and said "You broke it" we will not pay for anything! Overall this Dealership makes Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep look horrible, I will never recommend it to anyone. I have never been so humiliated or treated so poorly in my life. The General Manager Tom Segreti also told me I have to pay for the antenna myself and said Good Luck, then hung the phone up. More
We received top notch service from Bobby Caputo! We waivered between a few models, and at each step Bobby assisted, checking availability, listening to what we wanted, and worked to keep us within our waivered between a few models, and at each step Bobby assisted, checking availability, listening to what we wanted, and worked to keep us within our stated budget. He was enthusiastic, personable and downright great to work with! We guarantee we'll be back, and we will refer Bobby to anyone we meet that is looking to purchase a vehicle! Kudos to your Finance team as well! There is always a wait when completing paperwork at a dealership, yet the wait here was minimal. Mr. Fleming was easygoing, and took us through the paperwork with ease! Great job team! More
Do not waste your time going to this dealership. Their advertisements are a fraud. I drove an hour to get the advertised price but found out that it included all possible rebate (i.e. this would work if y advertisements are a fraud. I drove an hour to get the advertised price but found out that it included all possible rebate (i.e. this would work if you were a military member who sells real estate in Afghanistan?). When I pointed out that the advertising was misleading the sales manager did not apologize or offer to make it right somehow. I would definitely advise to go elsewhere. More
I'd like to compliment the Sherman Dodge Sales Team for the excellent customer service they provided us. BOTH Jerry Skiba & Milo Swiatek helped us sort our vehicle preference/needs and went far beyond for the excellent customer service they provided us. BOTH Jerry Skiba & Milo Swiatek helped us sort our vehicle preference/needs and went far beyond expectations, especially when compromising on the various particulars on the delivery of our NEW 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. BOTH Jerry and Milosz demonstrated SUPERIOR professionalism and ability to get to the bottom line of our special requirements and quickly delivered. Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. You can be sure that I will return to Sherman Dodge on my NEXT vehicle purchase and refer prospective customers for years to come. More
We inquired about a vehicle, was called back, and promised the deal. Drove the hour in, explained our situation, we were approved with a bank ater giving our verfiable income info. We even test drov promised the deal. Drove the hour in, explained our situation, we were approved with a bank ater giving our verfiable income info. We even test drove the vehicle. Over 6 hours at the dealer and submitted the papers. Only to tell us they needed our tax info. We went online and submitted it. Had to leave do to us needing to get our kids. We were on our way back to the dealer and they called to tell us that the bank that approved us now denied us. We said "so if we left with the vehicle that you shook our hands for a deal, rang their we just bought a car bell, and left" you would of called us back to return the vehicle? They then said, "it was just a pre approval!" So pretty much they promise you whatever and screw you in the end. Terrible terrible customer service More
This is by far the worst experience I had. I had inquired about a specific make and model, I had contacted the dealership and their internet guy who was friendly over the phone gave my info to management. I about a specific make and model, I had contacted the dealership and their internet guy who was friendly over the phone gave my info to management. I assumed the car was new because that is what was listed on their website. Management called me to make an appointment to come and see the car which I did. The next day I came to my appointment and the internet guy came and introduced himself and then handed me over to their sales rep. The sales rep then asked me what car I came in for... continued to make me walk around the lot with him looking for the car... We finally got back inside because he couldn't find it. He then tells me that Oh this is a DEMO car and the finance manager has it. They should have told me this ahead of time. Their was no responsibility taken by anyone, everyone just kept pointing fingers. So I then asked to drive a car that was very similar to it but instead he puts me in a completely different model which would not have the same feel. At that point I said good night and left. He didn't even try to stop me or apologize. I should have known not to go here because I have only heard nightmares come out of this place. More
This is the worst dealership ever. We had bought a car with the promise of having the paint job on the bumper fixed. We were promised a free rental car. They tried to pass off a horrible paint job on us a with the promise of having the paint job on the bumper fixed. We were promised a free rental car. They tried to pass off a horrible paint job on us and act like they were rushed and that's why the paint job was bad. We ended up bringing it back and not only did they not do it correctly but they charged us 100 as well on top of having to pay for a rental a second time. Stay away from this dealership. THEY ARE THE WORST. I will never buy another vehicle from them. We will definitely be going to another dealership when we buy a second Jeep in the fall. More
I asked for very specific advice from ALEX WALKER through numerous emails and he would not answer any of my questions. I asked for a model and listed the specifics of what I was looking for. All he kept as numerous emails and he would not answer any of my questions. I asked for a model and listed the specifics of what I was looking for. All he kept asking was that I tell him the stock # off the website that I was looking at. It was clear he did not want to do a single second more of work that he had to. THEE WORST SALES PERSON i have ever encountered. Finally after emailing and getting no answers to my questions (ex. In one email I finished it with "Please respond back with the information I have requested in the last 3 emails and nothing else" and he still didnt answer the questions) I called him-as I finally got him to give me his phone #, so I call him and ask for the information over the phone and he cuts me off and says "Can I call you back in 5 minutes" so I say yes and thats fine but please do because I want to get this taken care of as soon as possible. ONE HOUR LATER, I email him saying I understand if he is busy, I am in sales myself and I understand sometimes that you are just swamped. I then ask that if he is not able to help me, then please forward me to someone at his dealership who can help me buy a new car. If he doest do that, then I would assume his dealership is not interested in selling me a new car. So then not more than 2 minutes later, he EMAILS, not calls (like he said he would over an hour earlier) and simply says "what stock #?" .... STILL not addressing any of my concerns. I respond back literally 30 seconds later and simple say "Call me" as I was driving and could not send him the stock #'s (nor should I, as its HIS JOB) plus in my original email I gave him, it had the specific vehicle options I was looking for. OF COURSE he did not respond and I ended this charade by sending one last email saying "I'm not going to beg you to sell me a car, I will be informing your management of the difficult process I have encountered." SO on that final note, from what I assume from dealing with the incompetent Alex, and reading the rest of the reviews on this site, as well as not being able to find ANY contact information for any type of manager or higher ups at the company, this bs of a sales process is the norm here. I highly doubt that these reviews are even considered when improving their sales force but THIS IS A CALLING OUT TO THE MANAGEMENT AND OR OWNER OF THIS DEALERSHIP: I AM REQUESTING FOR SOMEONE TO REACH OUT TO ME TO DISCUSS THIS. YOU HAVE A SERIOUS CANCER IN YOUR ORGANIZATION THAT FROM MYSELF AND THE OTHER REVIEWS I HAVE READ, HAVE LOST YOU HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. MY NUMBER IS 312-208-6135 IF I DO NOT RECEIVE A CALL, I WILL ASSUME THIS PROBLEM IS A REFLECTION OF HOW THE ORGANIZATION IS RUN, TOP TO BOTTOM AND I WILL CONTINUE TO PERSUADE PEOPLE TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY TO STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM ALEX AND YOUR DEALERSHIP AS POSSIBLE. TO ALL THE OTHER READERS, MY BOTTOM LINE ADVICE, STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. I WILL HAPPILY PAU THOUSANDS MORE IF I HAVE TO, JUST SO I DO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH AN AWFUL GROUP LIKE THIS. More
