I purchased a used CRV from Shenango Honda almost 4 years ago and had a bad experience. Vehicle had a bad vibration and had a plugged front tire on the front that kept going flat. Did replace tire and after ago and had a bad experience. Vehicle had a bad vibration and had a plugged front tire on the front that kept going flat. Did replace tire and after having them look at it I finally took it to Preston Honda and they fixed the vibration. So after that many years decided to make an appointment for inspection at Shenango Honda. What a mistake that was!! Took almost 2 hours and that was with an appointment! Over the years I have been to other businesses in the area and at tops one hour for an inspection. This was ridiculous!! Needless to say this was my last trip there. There are many businesses that would be happy for my service. More

Prices are reasonable for Honda "Timing Belt Changes" I called numerous Honda shops for their prices on Timing Belt changes... having an older Crv and recently bought an 06' Pilot that soon needs the job I called numerous Honda shops for their prices on Timing Belt changes... having an older Crv and recently bought an 06' Pilot that soon needs the job done... Shenango Honda has the most reasonable prices for Timing belt/ water pump kit replacements, even though this shop is not in our city... we will go here....... It was very easy to schedule, talked to Matt in Service Dept, got us in the same week for our 1997 Crv... was very pleased with all of the fine details of what was done, clearly listed on the invoice, along with Matt's detailed explaining ... with written recommendations /options to get fixed Now or in the near future while having our Engine opened up.. Matt called us on our cell during the job. We did opt to get a "Rear Differential fluid Change" , also a leak in the engine, needed a plug. Plan to go back here with our Pilot for it's Timing Belt change. Good experience. Thank you. More

Time again for an oil change I love going back for my routine maintenance. I know when I do, the car is going to be completely gone over. I was assured that the brakes were fine I love going back for my routine maintenance. I know when I do, the car is going to be completely gone over. I was assured that the brakes were fine, which is what I was concerned about. They were 30,000 miles old. I didn't know how long they last. They brought in filters to show me and they were filthy! So of course we changed them. Then the bad news hit. The tires were needing replaced. I know when I go there for service, I am getting the full story of my car's condition from them. I will drive from Warren to Hermitage every time. Thanks guys. More
Very upset to find out my cr-v with LESS then 24,000 miles needed new tires, tread was close to failing inspection. I like the service department, and admire their honesty when telling me that many of t miles needed new tires, tread was close to failing inspection. I like the service department, and admire their honesty when telling me that many of the new cars come factory equipped with "soft" tires, as I never even thought to ask if the quality of tires was up to reasonable standards (just assumed certain standards would be met). My vehicle is a lease, that I expected to turn in prior to needing any expensive maintenance (3 yrs/36,000 miles), so was shocked to find out I was expected to replace tires with less than 24,000 miles! I feel tires of this quality are a FACTORY DEFECT, since the cheapest tires one can purchase are good for at least 35-40K miles. Again, my issue is NOT with the service department, but with the sales that would even sell a vehicle with tires of this poor quality.I feel Honda is at fault for dealing with continental tires of this poor quality, and for the price paid for a new vehicle, should stand behind the quality of ALL of the parts, as this is NOT normal "wear and tear" to require new tires prior to 24,000 miles. My car stalled in the middle of the highway in Hermitage. I was towed to Shenango Honda and they promptly got to work on my car. It took a little long to determine the cause of the problem, but once they did I was towed to Shenango Honda and they promptly got to work on my car. It took a little long to determine the cause of the problem, but once they did they communicated efficiently with me and got me back on the road. This is a 10 year old car with 150,000 miles and I don't mind spending a couple hundred dollars to have a repair done when the alternative was looking like buying a new car. My only complaint was the sales cashier was a little less than friendly. Overall, though, I felt the service department was very thorough, had excellent communication, and the price was reasonable. Thank you for your work. More
I took my 2007 S2000 in for a roof replacement. Honda USA paid $2,000 I paid $200. I took the service manager around the car and showed him all the defects in the exterior. There were rock chips and 1 place paid $2,000 I paid $200. I took the service manager around the car and showed him all the defects in the exterior. There were rock chips and 1 place where a previous owner bumped into something. When I picked up the car. The medal strip on the front of the roof where it meets the windshield was not installed correctly. The interior light did not work. The clip that attaches the roof to the supports was bent open. There were rivets missing, The plastic in the roof well was not installed correctly. The door trim on the frame of the passenger door was nicked both in the door opening and at the bottom where it meet the carpet behind the seat. The door panel was scratched. The leather on the console was cut, the plastic above the cut was damaged. The paint in the passenger door frame was scratched. There was a dent above the rear wheel on the passenger side. Rivets were removed with a screwdriver the plastic was gouged. The power plug no longer functions. The mechanic that worked on the car told me that he was rushed to put the car back together. The dealer refuses to take any responsibility for the damages, They were willing to fix the things that were obviously there fault. I got the parts and will install them myself. I will not ever let them touch my car again. More
This Honda dealer is a rip off. Their service department is willing to lie about what needs to be fixed and take your money without hesitation. I took my Odyssey in for the sliding door to be looked at. I is willing to lie about what needs to be fixed and take your money without hesitation. I took my Odyssey in for the sliding door to be looked at. It was not working well. They told me that it needed over $600 worth of repairs. They told me it needed a new latch and that I needed to replace the electrical switch boxes. I asked if only the latch could be replaced and they said the the switches were rusted and needed to be replaced as well. I left without doing the repairs. (Too much money.) I went to Autozone and bought the service manual for my car and dove in to the project. I noticed really quickly that my door had never been looked in to. There was a piece of plastic that protected the door from weather and water and it was perfect. (Never been touched condition.) Once removed...it is hard to replace perfectly. The two electrical switches I was supposed to replace were flawless. They still looked brand new. (No rust.) The only thing they were right about was the latch...it needed to be replaced. I did the project for $120. Do not believe what they say. I will never take my car there again! More
