I had one bad experience many years ago with this dealership and ended up buying a Toyota instead. In the market for an suv, I decided to give shenango honda another shot. I'm very glad I did! We wer dealership and ended up buying a Toyota instead. In the market for an suv, I decided to give shenango honda another shot. I'm very glad I did! We were helped by Mike Bobby who was very knowledgeable and friendly. We did not feel pressured and shopped around for the best price. We found a nice price online and shenango honda beat it. We were driving away in our new suv in no time and feel great about our purchase and dealings with honda! More

I have bought several Hondas in the past both new and used. Never in my life have I had a dealership act in such a unethical way. We were given a offer for a suv. I told sales manager we would intereste used. Never in my life have I had a dealership act in such a unethical way. We were given a offer for a suv. I told sales manager we would interested but I need to talk to my wife. (we talk in our family). next morning We called to set up time to sign and purchase car. We were told another sales person had sold Suv. We were not called or told about putting down a deposit etc. We had the suv sold from under us. I have never had a car sold when an offer was on the table. the sales manager has no character in my view. I think the the main office should remove the Honda name from the dealership they truly give them a bad name. Looking back it explains why the dealership had so few cars on the lot. I feel sorry for the sales staff with managers like that it must be a hard place to work. More
I took my 2007 S2000 in for a roof replacement. Honda USA paid $2,000 I paid $200. I took the service manager around the car and showed him all the defects in the exterior. There were rock chips and 1 place paid $2,000 I paid $200. I took the service manager around the car and showed him all the defects in the exterior. There were rock chips and 1 place where a previous owner bumped into something. When I picked up the car. The medal strip on the front of the roof where it meets the windshield was not installed correctly. The interior light did not work. The clip that attaches the roof to the supports was bent open. There were rivets missing, The plastic in the roof well was not installed correctly. The door trim on the frame of the passenger door was nicked both in the door opening and at the bottom where it meet the carpet behind the seat. The door panel was scratched. The leather on the console was cut, the plastic above the cut was damaged. The paint in the passenger door frame was scratched. There was a dent above the rear wheel on the passenger side. Rivets were removed with a screwdriver the plastic was gouged. The power plug no longer functions. The mechanic that worked on the car told me that he was rushed to put the car back together. The dealer refuses to take any responsibility for the damages, They were willing to fix the things that were obviously there fault. I got the parts and will install them myself. I will not ever let them touch my car again. More
I've had a number of bad dealings with this dealership. The Salespeople aren't allowed to sneeze without getting written permission from "Management". I was forced to stand there waiting for over an hour The Salespeople aren't allowed to sneeze without getting written permission from "Management". I was forced to stand there waiting for over an hour at one point before someone finally helped me. During this time, I got to see some of the manipulation in action and "Management" singing and acting as unprofessional as I've ever seen anyone act. Next, I was lied to regarding the inventory of a car that was sold, then suddenly was available again, only to be sold yet again. Finally, don't even BOTHER trying to trade a vehicle in unless you are happy with being offered 1/2 of the Kelly Blue Book trade in value for a car in FAIR condition, even when it is in good condition. I purchase my new Honda CRV's through the online process and don't deal with the salesman in the dealerships. I determine the fair selling price and fair trade in value from Kelly Blue Book or Edmonds and and don't deal with the salesman in the dealerships. I determine the fair selling price and fair trade in value from Kelly Blue Book or Edmonds and conduct my purchase online. When I contacted Shenango Honda, they gave me a competitive selling price online and asked me to stop in to the dealership for a trade in value, which I did. An hour later, after talking with a salesman who tried to begin the process over again, I was given a price that was significantly higher than the selling price emailed to me previously. They wasted my time and treated me in a condescending and arrogant manner. The general manager is a real jerk. If you want competitive pricing, outstanding customer service, no "good cop/bad cop" dealing between the sales manager and the salesman, go to Preston Honda in New Castle, PA. You won't be sorry. I purchased my last two Honda CRV's from Preston and they gave me a deal that beat Shenango Honda and The Honda Store in Boardman. They're a pleasure to deal with and only a short drive away from Hermitage. More
This Honda dealer is a rip off. Their service department is willing to lie about what needs to be fixed and take your money without hesitation. I took my Odyssey in for the sliding door to be looked at. I is willing to lie about what needs to be fixed and take your money without hesitation. I took my Odyssey in for the sliding door to be looked at. It was not working well. They told me that it needed over $600 worth of repairs. They told me it needed a new latch and that I needed to replace the electrical switch boxes. I asked if only the latch could be replaced and they said the the switches were rusted and needed to be replaced as well. I left without doing the repairs. (Too much money.) I went to Autozone and bought the service manual for my car and dove in to the project. I noticed really quickly that my door had never been looked in to. There was a piece of plastic that protected the door from weather and water and it was perfect. (Never been touched condition.) Once removed...it is hard to replace perfectly. The two electrical switches I was supposed to replace were flawless. They still looked brand new. (No rust.) The only thing they were right about was the latch...it needed to be replaced. I did the project for $120. Do not believe what they say. I will never take my car there again! More
I took my car to Shenango Honda repeatedly for the same problem and they were unable to fix it. I took it to Preston Honda to be fixed and they fixed it immediately. Apparently, the problem was caused by problem and they were unable to fix it. I took it to Preston Honda to be fixed and they fixed it immediately. Apparently, the problem was caused by the mechanics at Shenango in the first place when I had the car in for a different reason. More
