Dealership was very easy to deal with from the initial online request thru driving it off of lot. They understood what I wanted and had the paperwork ready for me when I arrived. OK the purchase was fine, but hidden damage found 3 weeks after the purchase was handled in an insulting way by all but 1 person in the Shelor group.... The amount (about $350) of the damage was small, but the fact that they would not own up to it, nor even offer to split the cost of the replacement item was insulting. Their implied judgement that I was a liar was even worse. They are like pimps (seriously); they get their $'s on the front-end sale and then move on to another sucker. I had a bad experience with them some 10+ years and warn everyone to avoid this group....... Conversely I had a hidden damage problem handled very effectively by a smaller local dealer (Harvey's) in the summer of 2010. The only question they asked was when I could I the SUV by for the repair. The similarity in both cases was that the damaged item was outside of the usual bumper to bumper warranty and about the same cost to fix. The difference was that Shelor "took a position", the salesman ignored my personal email to him, the sales manager was - well I won't go there, and my attempt to appeal up the proverbial food chain referred to a customer satisfaction person who had no authority to over rule the sales manager. Conversely Harvey's was wonderful. Unlike Shelor the sales person at Harvey's was my advocate. I wish I had purchased from Harvey's but decided to give Shelor a chance.
