I bought a used 2011 Subaru Outback from them last week, which was the first car I've bought at a dealership in 33 years. I went there to look at, and test-drive, the car on a Wednesday evening. I got pre-approved to buy the car Wednesday evening. I felt strongly pressured to make a purchase decision that evening, which I resisted (I never make major purchase decisions lightly). I came back home and did some more research. I sent off an email with follow-up questions on Thursday AM, and got an email reply within two hours. I looked at some other financing options and told Mr. Tozzolo I'd be in Friday mid-day to buy the car and use their financing. The final sales transaction took about 2.5 hours, which I thought was unduly lengthy. The finance person told me that I would not get a full 36-month, 36,000 mile warranty, but only the unused portion of it since the "place-in-service" date in July, 2011, which was not what I was told on Wednesday evening. So, bottom line, buying a new (or certified pre-owned) car is still a fairly unpleasant experience. The folks at Shelor made it as tolerable as they could. More
