Although the mechanic completed the multi-point check, there was no indication that other checks on the scheduled service listed in the toyota book had been completed. This may be due to the generic multi-point checklist used by Shelor does not include them. However, some of the items in the Toyota book for the 45,000 mile service HAD BEEN checked off. Why not the rest? Disappointed with the lack of thoroughness. Not the mechanics fault. Should be required and checked by service representative. More
The Staff at Shelor Toyota are always friendly and very informative about each vehicles that comes in to get their vehicle serviced! I'm the type of person needs to have the same Service Advisor everyti informative about each vehicles that comes in to get their vehicle serviced! I'm the type of person needs to have the same Service Advisor everytime I get my car serviced, because I don't have to explain and repeat everytime to a different person! Plus they can talk to a family member and explain what's going on with my car when they find out my car needs this or here's the problem. They can speak car language that I don't have haha! I'm very impressed overall!! More
I normally have excellent things to say about Shelor, but they dropped the ball this time. I made my appointment on-line and requested a GPS update over a week in advance, because I know they have to order i they dropped the ball this time. When I asked why it wasn't already ordered, I was told next time make my appointment by phone, not on-line. That is crazy, why do they offer a service request field on their website?? Now I have to go back for another service arrangement. More
Bart was extremely helpful in keeping me updated on what was going on with my 4Runner. The vehicle was done and ready when I got there to pick it up.
