Was expecting a used vehicle and left with a new! We went into Shelor with the hopes of purchasing a used vehicle. After test driving a half dozen cars our Salesman Matt Moore presented 2 brand new dream vehicles that were available at a better rate. Not once was he aggressive with his demeanor or sales pitch. He truly cared about our needs and was willing to work tirelessly to meet them. What a wonderful unexpected experience and surprise. We’ll be back! More

Don't trust Shelor's Service Department I had a cracked windshield due to a rock hitting it. Safelite of Roanoke, VA came out and replaced it. After the repair they informed me that since I had a cracked windshield due to a rock hitting it. Safelite of Roanoke, VA came out and replaced it. After the repair they informed me that since my car was equipped with Driving Assist System it should be recalibrated. They told me that I could either bring it to them or take it to the dealer. Safelite is an hour away, my dealer, 30 minutes. So, I chose to take it to the dealer. At this point, all my computer systems appeared to be working except for the auto windshield wipers and there were no error reports displayed on my dashboard. When I took it to Shelor Toyota, they informed me that my front facing camera was broken and that it would cost $1,468.84 to repair. I told Shelor that it had been working just fine before I brought it to them. They told me that the recalibration must have found the broken camera and that my Driving Assist System would not work and that I would have an error message displayed on my dashboard until the camera was replaced. They told me to contact my insurance company (GIECO) and that my insurance would pay for the new camera. I did just that. GIECO put me in touch with Safelite. A warranty inspector from Safelite came out and looked at my car to make sure all the connections were secure. They also asked me if I would bring it to their shop in Roanoke so they could try to recalibrate it. I agreed. The inspector also asked me where I had taken my car to get it recalibrated. I told him "Shelor". He said, "I thought so. We've had about 4 other vehicles that were recalibrated there that have reported broken cameras." My appointment with Safelite was today. They had no problem recalibrating the system and everything works just fine. There was no broken camera. It seems to me that if anyone can recalibrate a Toyota's Driving Assist System it should be a Toyota dealer. I believe that Shelor disabled my Driver Assist System to fraudulently collect payment for a new front facing camera and that this is not the first time they have done so. I have filed a Fraud Report with the National Insurance Crime Bureau. More
