We contacted you for an outstanding valve spring recall that you had open on your vehicle on March 20th with 137,000 miles. Six months later, with 149,158 miles on the vehicle, you brought it back to us with an engine knock. Upon diagnosis, per your approval, we have determined that the vehicle needs a new engine. It was discovered that there is baring material found in the lower end of the motor, which has nothing to do with the recall that was performed. When you returned the rental vehicle to us, you preceded to cuss out our employees, physically degrade their appearance, as well as speak negatively about us to other customers in the dealership. There is no correlation between your engine failure and the recall performed.
