With a handful of very unfulfilling car dealer experiences in our past, we nervously walked into Sheehy Volkswagen. We were met at the door by salesman Zach, whose warm and friendly manner quickly put us at ease. Zach knew every detail of each of the cars we considered, and expertly answered every question. His relaxed, no-pressure style allowed us to actually consider a purchase, rather than feeling pushed into something we didn't want. Though we didn't make a purchase that evening, we came back the next day and snagged a beautiful new Passat. We couldn't be happier. Everyone at the dealership was friendly, and the showroom itself was spacious and immaculately clean. This was the fastest, most pleasant car-buying experience we've ever had, and thanks to Zach, we drove away in the car of our dreams. More

Then, they were total rock stars in getting me in it! I came in with a firm price through USAA, so the no-haggle part of the experience was amazing! Naim was my sales guy and he was just wonderful! Easy to work with and simply pleasant. It took a couple hours to get through all the sales pitches for the add-ons, but once that was done and all the paperwork was done, I was out of there with my new wheels! (I only do this once every 10 years, so not something I'm used to!) A couple people deserve special mention. Shanice went through extraordinary measures to get my license plates...through the state of Oregon! And they put the tags on the car and it was EASY (for me)! Mitch Monroe, the Shop Foreman, fixed a niggling, but highly annoying issue, with a rattle in the interior. I didn't even have an appointment, but was there to pick something up and he went on a ride with me to hear the noise. When I couldn't make it happen, he still knew what it was and fixed it!! Plus Ben, the service supervisor was just awesome! He orchestrated all the randomness that needed to be closed out with a few things. The bottom line is that this team is just a class act! I am very glad that I bought my new car from them! More

Came in for routine service and left with a new car I had been thinking about getting a new car for a few months, but didn't think I could swing it it. I looked at the 2015s in the showroom while my favorite service guru, Cee was tending to my 2012 Passat. A very pleasant female sales person greeted me in the showroom, but to be honest, until she said hello, I felt invisible to the two other salesmen on the floor at the time. I found a spot to settle in and get some work done during the service process. After about an hour went by, Sal introduced himself as a fellow NYer and we chatted for a few minutes. Not only is he a genuinely nice guy, but Sal clearly knows how to interact with a potential customer. He's a straight shooter who wants to find the deal that's best for you. Long story short, I left with a 2015 Passat that day and that's because I wanted a new car and Sal picked up on that when others didn't seem to. Thanks Sal!! More
