************SCAM*******MISINFORMATION********* Do not trust a word this shady and manipulative dealership says!!!!! I purchased my vehicle from the Springfield Sheehy VW dealership a little over 1 year a trust a word this shady and manipulative dealership says!!!!! I purchased my vehicle from the Springfield Sheehy VW dealership a little over 1 year ago. Through out this time, I've exclusively taken my vehicle to get serviced from the same dealership. After paying off my vehicle I decided to use their vehicle appraisal tool to see what offer they could make to buy back my vehicle. A Sales and Leasing Consultant reached out to me and explained the process and stated that the offer would be good for 7 days. He asked me to bring my vehicle in for an appraisal and final offer. Upon arriving to the dealership the Pre-Owned Sales Manager, Riadh Mejri not only gave me a much much lower offer than the Sheehy appraisal tool but then told me that the offer he made had to be taken right now and that he wouldn't going to honor the 7 days to consider the offer!! I stated that his associate stated I had seven days to decide and asked why couldn't I have time to think about the offer and Riadh stated that he doesn't give customers time to think about the offer and that the offer could be lower if he re-appraises the vehicle. This is the definition of horrible customer service and lying to customers about policies in place. More
Number one cylinder piston broke yesterday and now the engine in my 2015 VW Passat needs replacing, even though it has only 91,000 miles on it and was at the dealership for normal maintenance a few weeks engine in my 2015 VW Passat needs replacing, even though it has only 91,000 miles on it and was at the dealership for normal maintenance a few weeks ago. Do not drop your preconceptions of predatory dealership culture—they want to sell and will make assumptions, pressure, violate privacy, and gauge what they can get away with. Expect typical selling strateg culture—they want to sell and will make assumptions, pressure, violate privacy, and gauge what they can get away with. Expect typical selling strategies and threshold level ethical standards. My experience: They intensely pressured me to buy various warranties, pricing changed frequently, there are plenty of vaguely described fees, they make assumptions for sales manipulation, and ~intensely~ seek your personal information to gauge how much they can get out of you, etc. I came in with a pre approved check from my bank. I did not give consent to apply for their financing and did not wish to share unnecessary personal information (social, income, history, etc.). They tried to tell me it was necessary to apply, fill out this and that, etc. I was on defense but they lied and got me to drive there (2h) to buy the car. They lied and lied again when they still used my information to cast a wide net to creditors against my wishes. Since buying my car (with a check from my trusted bank I got weeks prior) I get physical SPAM mail EVERY DAY (various loan servicers, credit card pre approvals, extended warranties, etc). I didn’t apply for anything and asked not to, but somehow everyone has my personal information!!!! Not to mention other lies: Service history: breaks were just replaced, the squeaky power windows just need wd40 (expensive mechanical issue), and service was up to date! Makes me feel really uneasy about the purchase and what they do with my personal info. (Within two months I had to completely replace all breaks and rotors, power windows needed fixed, oil change was much needed, had to get a weird engine sound checked, and multiple fluids needed. Really lame.) My experience buying a used vehicle was disappointing as anticipated. I was on defense and untrusting during and feel uneasy and used afterwards. More
After pumping gas, my son forgot to put the gas cap on and check engine light came on. They charge him $385 to reset the check engine light and insisted to replace the cap. What a rip off. In the past the and check engine light came on. They charge him $385 to reset the check engine light and insisted to replace the cap. What a rip off. In the past the same incident with my wife’s car and the dealer reset it with no charge. More
it is a joke and not worthy of being called Service Center: we bought a $1,000 VIP service package with our brand new 2022 Atlas that guaranty us a loaner during service among other amenities. Our Atla Center: we bought a $1,000 VIP service package with our brand new 2022 Atlas that guaranty us a loaner during service among other amenities. Our Atlas with less than 4K miles on it got a "Electronic Power Control light" the equivalent of "check engine" light on other cars. I called the service center and they did not have appointments until 9 days later and that I cannot get any loaner because they are backed up. When I inquired about if my car is drivable, the answer was no. So no loaner, no repair, and no drivable 2022 brand new car. We are supposed to what exactly? have no car for 9 days because the VW and the service are not reliable? if that is the case, then the rating on both should be terrible. Finally the agreed to let me bring the car after the weekend and shuttle me back home More
Purchased a CPO 2016 Jetta. The experience with Jonathan Rivera was excellent. He is responsive, kind, and honest. We made a deal via email, and he kept true to his word throughout the process. This is one of the toughest used car markets for buyers in decades and I couldn’t recommend a dealer to help negotiate this market more than these guys. Our sales person (Riadh) was fantastic! He worked w in decades and I couldn’t recommend a dealer to help negotiate this market more than these guys. Our sales person (Riadh) was fantastic! He worked with us for weeks and the Used Car manger was great too. They were able get a lots of inventory at reasonable prices. After checking out many dealerships we kept coming back here. I’m glad we did we just bought a car and we couldn’t be happier (unless we bought las year)! They treated us well and and process was very transparent. If we weren’t moving this would be my dealership. More
Wanted to thank Sami for his assistance in me purchasing my very first car on my own. He was a great help and I look forward to doing business with Sheehy Volkswagen again, in the future.
