Buying my Used Jetta I thought that this dealer was very good and provided me with a very fair price fro the car that I have bought. I thought that the salesman, Ron, was not overly pushy and told me the truth (an not in a way that was aggressively pushing me to buy the car). I would also like to point out that the aggressively price their cars so do not expect to get any discounts upon those that they give online. Overall I am enjoying my new jetta and I do not feel that I overpayed. More

!!SCAMMED! FRIENDLY FACED LIARS! REAL CUSTOMER REVIEW!!!!!!! 1) Exactly a year ago I had been looking for a car desperately but being new to the car buying business I completely fell for their sales pitch and a 1) Exactly a year ago I had been looking for a car desperately but being new to the car buying business I completely fell for their sales pitch and a disastrous deal! The employees that participated in scamming my 21,500 DOLLARS IN CASH are Paul Wicker and Sal Cirillo. (THEY LIED TO ME ABOUT THE FIRST 10,000TH MILE SERVICE BEING FREE!!! SO IN ESSENCE: YES YOU READ IT RIGHT $21,500 IN CASH FOR A 2016 JETTA WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PACKAGES OR WARRANTIES!!! (I'm livid everytime I go online and see 2017 Jettas going for around $13k when I paid $21.5k grand in cash for going for the same car just a year before. (YES SO THEY MADE ABOUT $8-9K of pure profit from me!) 2) That day I made the mistake of walking into this dealership, when I walked in Paul Wicker paraded and saluted how the heiress (Kathleen Sheehy) to the Sheehy mass fortune of at least 24 dealerships worked at this VW Springfield location because it is the best dealership of the entire company and that they will give me the best offer that I would find anywhere. ("Trust" is something you should never do with car dealerships especially the SHEEHY DEALERSHIPS!!!) 3) Little did I know I would lose my parent's saving who had been working hard for many years just to save up this much money, I get that to this company it is chump change but to our family it is a fortune. But all of it was lost for a cheap car (or hunk of metal I should say) that is actually sold for about $8-9K less than the price that my family paid for. (ABSOLUTE SCAM) 4) SO LET ME GET TO HOW THE "DEAL" (SCAM in my words) went down. After fangirling Kathleen Sheehy for about half an hour, PAUL WICKER told me "Oh let me find you the best deal my man, trust me I got you!". So he starts telling about how great the Jetta is and that he has one himself! (Most common lie told) and so on he rants about how he thinks about trading in his car everyday but by lunchtime, he realizes how much he loves his car and the lumbar support for his back and etc. (BTW THESE ARE HIS EXACT WORDS!!! ALSO HE WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND ABOUT QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS AFTER THE PURCHASE, TO BE EXACT HE'S AVOIDING ME OVER EMAIL ABOUT THE FIRST 10,000 MILE SERVICE COMPLAINT AT THIS VERY MOMENT!!!) 5) After checking out the car which LOOKED GOOD but HAD DEFECTS (I'll explain in a moment) they brought my parents and I into the "situation room" or Sal Cirillo's office which I assume is where all the deals go down. WIthin this room they bring in 2-3 people (one of them Kathleen Sheehy) whom they're parading and saluting just like Paul did Kathleen, how these people are the MANAGERS of this buffoonery and that buffoonery. With them surrounding my family, we start the "deal" (SCAM in my words) thus the process begins with Sal Cirillo showing off his ring to us and how big it is and how it's suppose to represent how wealthy and successful he is (YES HE ACTUALLY DID THIS) then they proceeded with the legal sales procedure which is basically when they bumrush you and say "sign here, sign here also, sign there, just sign" after hastening us through these pages of signatures, I see the greedy grin on Sal Cirillo's face as he counted away at $21,500 IN CASH by licking his finger and counting through the money (FACE OF PURE GREED) then another "manager" in the room counts the money again and puts it in a yellow document folder and seals it and then puts it a safe right in front of us! That's when Paul walks in with the same greedy grin and tells us your car is outside and he literally says "Enjoy your new car, call me anytime!" (another lie) and as soon as he hands me the keys to the car he literally is skipping away with a laughter on his face! 6) SURPRISE: MY MISFORTUNES DIDN'T END THERE! (SIDE NOTE, I'M A VERY SAFE AND DEFENSIVE DRIVER, I NEVER SPEED NOR DRIVE CARELESSLY) About two months after purchasing this "brand new car" I'm driving down 395 to my friend's wedding in North Carolina, SUDDENLY MY CAR STARTS MAKING TERRIBLE NOISES AND IT STARTS STALLING (The only comparison that I can make is from the Fast and Furious movies when the cops shoot the car with those electricity disabling claw guns!) LITERALLY EVERYTHING ON ALL THE SCREENS AND MY GPS BEGIN TO GO STATIC! ALSO I LOSE CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL, ALL MY TIRES BEGAN TO FEEL AS IF I WAS SPEEDING OVER SPEED BUMPS!!! (My girlfriend and I could have literally died!!!) LUCKILY WITHOUT CRASHING I PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY WHEN A VDOT WORKER COMES TO MY AID, HE TELLS ME "I bet you got a lemon from the dealership, go and hold those scammers accountable for what they sold you!" So I literally drive 20 mph on 395 backtracking towards the VW Sheehy Springfield dealership while calling Ben Ong the service advisor (BTW THE ONLY POSITIVE PERSON/PART OF THIS DEALERSHIP, also this is how you know I'm not lying at all because there was a positive among this disaster storm) on the phone, I finally slowly but surely roll on over to the dealership, we walk into the service center absolutely LIVID, yelling and cursing about the car and how we almost lost our lives, that's when Ben Ong patiently and understandingly calmed us down and offered us a loaner car even if it meant going out of state with the vehicle, with our buddy's wedding the next day it was the only option. So we attended our friend's wedding over the weekend and came back to the dealership the following week! Ben Ong being a dependable and honest worker informs us that 4 SPARK PLUGS HAD GIVEN OUT AT THE SAME TIME!!! MORAL OF STORY (OR MY REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE) IS THAT DON'T TRUST SHEEHY SALESMAN AND MANAGERS EVER, THEY'RE ONLY THERE TO MAKE PROFIT AND SOLELY THAT!!! ALSO PLEASE DON'T PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK BUYING THEIR CARS (AKA TICKING TIME BOMBS) I COULD WRITE FURTHER IN DETAIL ABOUT THE WORST BUSINESS DEAL/EXPERIENCE IF ANYONE IS CONCERNED OR INTERESTED. --- aside from this terrible experience, I would like to give a shout out to BEN ONG for being an excellent service advisor but I would also like to tell him that A BETTER COMPANY DESERVES YOUR LOYALTY AND HARD WORK!!!
