Regarding Unsatisfactory Experience Dear Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at [ D—-ri Sheehy VW and he’s mangers ] regarding m Service, I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at [ D—-ri Sheehy VW and he’s mangers ] regarding my recent experience purchasing a vehicle. From the outset, I had interactions with your team that led me to believe we had reached a clear agreement on the vehicle price, both through text messages and in-person conversations. However, when I arrived at the dealership to finalize the sale, I was met with a completely different story. The representatives I dealt with not only attempted to change the agreed-upon price but also exhibited unprofessional behavior that I found disrespectful and disheartening. Instead of upholding the original agreement, they seemed intent on tricking me into accepting less favorable terms. This behavior reflects a severe lack of integrity and professionalism that I did not expect from an established dealership like Volkswagen. Furthermore, the atmosphere during my visit became increasingly uncomfortable as I felt dismissed and disregarded as a valued customer. Such treatment is unacceptable and has left a lasting negative impression of your dealership. I hope that you take this complaint seriously and ensure that your staff receives the necessary training to handle customer interactio More

Despite the defect being irreparable, Sheehy sales department will also not make any kind of good faith deal for a trade-in. I purchased a new VW with the Sheehy VIP package and it has made no difference. Will never buy another VW again. More

Went today to trade in our '20 Jetta for a '23 CPO Atlas. After being offered a fair (not fantastic) trade in price, we agreed to a final, out-the-door price on the Atlas & signed the sales agreement. Got ba After being offered a fair (not fantastic) trade in price, we agreed to a final, out-the-door price on the Atlas & signed the sales agreement. Got back into the finance office & the price was almost $2K more than what we had agreed to. They looked into it & their "system had forgotten" to add in the sales tax...the same automated system they use for every vehicle sale. Of course, they couldn't explain this & apologized, but said there was nothing they could do. After consideration, I told the sales manager, Jorge, that if he took another $1K off the price of the vehicle to bring it down closer to what we'd agreed to, I'd sign & take the car. He refused & said there was nothing he could do...they were already losing money...blah blah blah. Shady, shady, shady practice. We're wondering if this happens to every customer who goes through there...they get back to finance after being at the dealership for hours & are told "oops, that out-the-door price you agreed to didn't include the sales tax," so the weary souls just say "fine" & sign so they can leave with their new vehicle. We said no way & walked. We're both business owners, & if our "system" makes an error & undercharges a customer, we absorb the loss or adjust our pricing to compensate...we don't insist that our customers pay a price they did not agree to. I do need to mention that our salesman, Jonathan Martinez, is a super nice guy...we bought our son's '19 CPO Jetta from him back in '20. He apologized profusely for the "error" today, & we told him it's not his fault, but that the way his manager, Jorge, had handled things was unprofessional. Unfortunately, because of this, Sheehy Volkswagen of Springfield has lost our business permanently. More

I ask her for a test drive and she needs "to ask her manager" since it's a manual transmission. She says that I may stall the car--after telling her i've owned many manual transmission cars she tells me "that's what everyone says". What kind of dealership treats customers like this? Amazing how entitled and arrogant this dealer is--stay away if you want to be treated with respect. More
