He provided me with an estimated date but also informed due to reasons out of his control the date could change. This was understandable given the car environment we are in. Once my car was delivered he spent time talking to me about my new features and any differences I may notice since I was trading in my Outback for a newer model and trim. As everyone knows buying a car in this marking is crazy. Well we were very lucky. From the moment we drove on the Subaru Lot and we meet Chris. Chris did not hesitate to hand over the keys and let us test drive and from the moment we did I fell In love with the car I know this was the car I had to have We always have a 24 hour thinking period and I know with the market the way it is that is scary but to us we knew we would be able to get one at the right time. So about 3 days later we called Chris and told him we were ready to buy a 2022 wilderness. He delivered with flying colors. We ended up getting our car In 3 days and everything went so smooth . I explored purchasing a new Subaru on-line and started calling dealers. I am sure you are aware that the automobile shortage has some dealers charging a premium for vehicles. I called my Dealer in Florida, and they informed me they were adding an additional $3,000 to the MSRP due to the shortage of new cars caused by COVID. I was not going to purchase a New car and had decided to keep my car until the production caught up with demand. I stopped at Sheehy Subaru in Springfield , VA. to explore their extended warranty options in case they differed from the ones offered in Florida. I spit my time between Florida and Virginia so Sheehy is my "Go To" Dealer in Virginia. When I got out of my car, I noticed Sheehy had plenty of new cars and quite a few of the New Forrester Wilderness. Shabir Baba greeted me and without any pressure showed me the Forrester Wilderness and explained that Sheehy Subaru does not charge more than the MSRP. He gave me the keys and told me he could have my car appraised while I took a test drive. Shabir is a man of his word. The appraisal of my car was complete when I returned and Sheehy had presented me with a workable path to a new car. As far as recommending a dealer to friends and family for the purchase of a new car, I will be recommending Shabir Baba at Sheehy Subaru. He was able to find a vehicle in queue to be built, reserved it for me and I had a custom ordered Legacy within two weeks from deposit to driving it home. Though I realize that the timeline cannot necessarily always be repeated, the creativity and persistence Chris deployed to make it happen was impressive and nothing short of a great reflection on why I chose to stick with Sheehy for a second purchase in a row. Furthermore, the dealership recognizes loyalty in their customers and really goes that extra mile to reward you for that loyalty. To that end, I have also used Sheehy for servicing my Subarus since I bought my first one in 2016. Trevor in the service department has also been a significant reason for my continued loyalty. His customer service is second to none and he is equally as forthright and trustworthy to match. I have for both sales and service made numerous recommendations over the years to friends and family, and they have never let me down or been a bad reflection on me.
