Subaru Outback Purchase I recently purchased a new Subaru Outback from Sheehy Subaru. My salesman, George McIntosh, did an outstanding job in responding to my initial email I recently purchased a new Subaru Outback from Sheehy Subaru. My salesman, George McIntosh, did an outstanding job in responding to my initial email inquiries on availability and pricing and invited me for a test drive. When my wife and I arrived, he immediately made us feel comfortable about the dealership explaining both sales and after sale service. After driving the six-cylinder test vehicle I sought, he offered to have us also test drive a four cylinder that had the safety features I was interested in and demonstrated the capability of warning systems. I had some very specific questions about the vehicles which he answered promptly. and accurately. After the sale, George contacted me periodically to see if I had any other questions about vehicle operations, the dealership or anything related to Outback ownership. Very impressive follow on support. Definitely would consider purchasing another Subaru through George in the future. Russell Travis More

Helps you decide what you are looking for. He is knowledgeable and patient. You feel he is working for you, not just a commission. I also was lucky enough to have Sabrina in finance. She is amazing, working hard to get you the best deal and never pressuring you with the add ones, just lets you know what's available. The service department excels in service as well. This is a well run dealership with service and making the customer happy as their first priority. Not only do I recommend but I'll be back when it's time to get another Subie! More

They helped me find a color I was happy with and we agreed on a fair price. I'm incredibly happy with my Legacy sport. It's a very handsome car that has a lot of nice features. Their ability to track down the exact model, trim, and options I wanted is second to none. Raj was very knowledgeable when introducing me to the car, and had great advice to offer as it was my first wheel rear drive car. The technical team was very helpful when I came back the next day with a few questions that I had discovered over my first few drives with it, and they helped get everything set right just for me. The financing was pretty straight forward as well, and they were more than happy to work with me on the unique trade in situation I had. More

No Pressure Car Buying Experience After my car was totaled, my pregnant wife and I were desperate to find a new car as soon as possible. After seeing that the Subaru Forester received After my car was totaled, my pregnant wife and I were desperate to find a new car as soon as possible. After seeing that the Subaru Forester received the best in class award for Compact SUVs by Consumer Reports, we decided to test drive one at Sheehy Subaru of Springfield. I loved the fact that once you drove to the dealership, you were not immediately confronted by a sales associate. Instead, Robert Jacob waited for us to come into the dealership where he very professionally went over the options on the Forester. I initially was interested in getting the base model trim but after he informed me about the eyesight package, my wife and I became more interested in the premium trim level. Robert did not put any pressure on us and had no reservations about allowing us to test drive the Forester by ourselves. A couple days later, I called Chris Barr (Robert's manager) who gave me a very competitive price on a Forester. I shopped around by calling other dealerships but noticed right away how much pressure other dealerships were trying to apply on me. I finally called Chris again to let him know that we were off by approximately $400 from a dealership in Maryland that participates in the Costco Auto Program. Chris told me that he would be happy to work with me on that difference and to come into the dealership to discuss. Upon arriving at the dealership, Robert graciously showed my wife and I additional safety features of the Forester and allowed us to test drive it by ourselves once again. Afterwards, Robert and Chris immediately matched the price that I was looking for and they started preparing the paperwork immediately. There was no awkward negotiating moments! Sabrina Morgan provided the financing and was gracious enough to explain the after market packages at a very competitive price. She even had the flexibility of allowing my wife to leave before the paperwork was signed (despite wanting to have her name on the loan). Instead, I signed everything that night and then my wife stopped by the next morning to sign. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. Sheehy Subaru is not a typical dealership -- and that's a good thing. From my first inquiry, to my visit, to closing the deal, and even afterward, salesman Larry McGill, Carole Hall in Finance, and everyone I met were welcoming, friendly, and never exhibited any pressure. They were thorough in answering all of my questions and detailed in explaining all the bells and whistles on my new car. I encourage anyone looking to buy a car to go to Sheehy Subaru in Springfield, ask for Larry McGill, and finally enjoy how the car buying process should be -- fair and easy. More
