Second time buying at Sheehy and with Chris La Porte and another great experience. No pressure from Chris - he is patient, knows the Subaru line top to bottom. He gives you info on each car and lets you decide which model works best for your needs. Will recommend Chris to anyone looking at new cars. Thanks again! More

The quote from Sheehy was excellent and everything was up front with no hidden charges. Chris then went out of his way to find the exact car I wanted with the options I wanted and the color. I did not have to pay for any extras on the car that I did not want. Chris kept me up to date on when the car would be arriving. He was professional and made sure that I received the best deal. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a Subaru. Best car buying experience I have had in years. More

Unlike other dealerships they made me feel like my best interests were priority and made sure that I didn’t leave the facility until I was more then satisfied. I would happily work with him again in the future and would send people his way! The woman in finance, however, was absolutely pushy when it came to added warranties. We simply do not want them. Maybe it was because we are younger buyers, I don’t know. She asked almost as if they weren’t optional. It was very frustrating. Additionally, she did not give us the best financing rate. My partner and I have impeccable credit. Yet she led with one of the highest interest rates at 4.5%. I threatened to leave as this was a totally unacceptable rate and would return with my own bank’s loan. She asked me to wait a moment, resubmitted, and woah! 3.5% no problem. This person nearly cost the dealer a sale and I would recommend bringing a pre-approval from your bank and not dealing with their finance department at all if she is any representation of the department as a whole. She made my partner uncomfortable and I found her pushiness distasteful of such an otherwise amazing car buying experience. It’s too bad that was the last person we spent time with before leaving with the excellent new car. More

We were greeted with a friendly face at the front desk and directed to sales expert Chris LaPorte, who was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the car and worked hard to get us what we wanted. He not only found us a car, but has followed up to see if we have any questions, and another technology expert will follow up with us in a few weeks to help us with any other questions we have. Even the paperwork process, which is always tedious, was designed to be as simple as possible and was not overly pushy. Sheehy clearly cares about customer satisfaction & I would recommend them for a new Subaru! More
Great experience with Chris La Porte I walked in with my Mother-in-law to help her purchase a new Outback. This would be her first new car that she picked out. We knew what we wanted and Chris made it happen. Two and a half hours later we were on our way home with her new car. Chris made the process work perfectly and we are extremely happy with his handling and with the car. Thank you Chris! More
Chris La Porte Rocks!!!!!!! My husband and I came into the dealership to buy our daughter a car. We walked in and was immediately approached by Chris asking if we would like any help We told him our plans to purchase the new Subaru ascent for our daughter. He immediately got us a brochure and accessories brochure to help familiarize us with this car. He then said do you want to see one and drive it. Wow, I was thrilled. He spent so much time showing us all the features on the car and off we went. He drove first and then let me drive. So much fun. He taught me how to drive the car with my foot off the brake and accelerator. At 70 I felt like 40. Truly a master car. We got back to his desk and he put together an preliminary spread sheet of cost. He knew we were coming back with our daughter and grandchildren to look at cars and drive. So on Saturday 5 people arrived at his desk. He immediately focused now on my daughter and grand kids. He knew so he said let’s all go for a ride. We had another fun experience. He talked to my daughter but also answered all questions my 7 year old grandson had. He let my daughter drive then and she was thrilled. We all had a great time. When we got back we got the kids settled and he talked to us and my daughter. The car she decided on was in Frederick Maryland He immediately called to get the car to Springfield and got the accessories we needed before they closed and said we could have it Sunday. He wanted to get it and get it detailed and ready to go out the door So Sunday we returned, finalized price which we were very very happy with and again he spent another hour at least with us showing my daughter more features on the car. I know I wrote a lot but I wanted to get across that this salesman spends time with his client. He made us feel great about the car buying process. He also then introduced us to most of the people there. I know feel so comfortable coming in to this dealership and knowing I will continue to get great service More

Above and Beyond Chris La Porte called me as my current lease was coming to an end. We met and he was very patient while I decided between an Outback and a Forester. Chris La Porte called me as my current lease was coming to an end. We met and he was very patient while I decided between an Outback and a Forester. He got me a smokin' deal on an Outback - the model and colors were just what I wanted. Fast forward 11 days - my brand new car wouldn't start. I had it towed to Sheehy in Springfield and got a loaner car the same day. The next day the service dept found that a module went bad and a new one was ordered. It would arrive in about 4 days. I contacted Chris and told him that frankly I just wasn't feeling this car and was there anything he could do to get me a different Outback. He promised to do what he could and get back to me. A day later he called and told me he was getting me out of my car. He worked with the sales manager Chris Barr and a few days later I went and picked up another Outback in a new color that I requested. Everyone at the dealership thanked me for working with them on this ... but they deserve all the credit. This is the fourth Subaru I've leased from Sheehy Subaru of Springfield and it won't be the last. More
