COULDN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT SALES REP KEEDON SALES MANAGER MAX AND FINANCE MANAGER DANIEL!!!! I was in a bad spot with my car being wrecked and having a hard time with the gap insurance paperwork, k MANAGER MAX AND FINANCE MANAGER DANIEL!!!! I was in a bad spot with my car being wrecked and having a hard time with the gap insurance paperwork, keedon called me and blocked out time to sit down and help me get everything I needed to send to them. (530 pm) Max helped me with everything. then after all that was done helped me pick out a car. ALL 3 GUYS STAYED TILL AROUND 10PM GETTING EVERYTHING DONE FOR ME SO THAT I COULD DRIVE HOME THAT DAY!! ! I didn't expect to leave with a car that night. THIS IS MY 2ND CAR I GOT WITH THEM. THESE GUYS TRULY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP YOU!!! JESSICA in the auto shoppe is also TRULY AMAZING. my last car my son blew 2 of my tires and I called her I didn't have an appointment but she told me to have it brought in and she will take care of it right then!!! I WOULDN'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! More
My subaru was brought in for oil change and tire rotation . also multpoint inspection. My son marked my tires to see if they were rotated ,They diden't rotate my tires but they did charge me . also they were . also multpoint inspection. Recently our car broke down on our way back to Canada from South Carolina and it ended up at this dealership. Mike Picco was the kindest most accommodating person I have ever dealt with at a dealership. We had to leave our car and travel back to Canada without it. Mike had to deal with Subaru Canada to get it fixed under a recall. Subaru Canada were horrible but Mike was the best. He communicated and was sympathetic to the fact we were so far away. I wish Mike was there when my husband picked up the car so we could thank him and all the rest the people that got our car fixed. If we lived in Maryland I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a car here with service like this. Thank you. More
Best car buying experience in 40 years! I've bought many cars and have had many different experiences. Because of that I, and many others, dread going to car dealerships to purchase a I've bought many cars and have had many different experiences. Because of that I, and many others, dread going to car dealerships to purchase a vehicle. Sheehy Subaru in Hagerstown was definitely and exception to all those bad experiences. I went with my daughter to buy her 1st new car. Her heart was set on a Subaru Impreza, and it had to be silver. After much research and searching we used a buying service which spit out a price and dealer that had the exact car she wanted. We were contacted by Manny Luzurianga our assigned salesman and set up an appointment. She had previously test-driving the Impreza so we were there to purchase and we let Manny know that in advance. We arrived at 4pm and by 6pm we were out the door with the keys!! The buying service was too good to be true and we were not very optimistic about actually getting that price. However, Sheehy honored the buying service price w/o question. There was no haggle, no "let me take that to my manager" etc. They put the paper in front of us just as we were hoping. Done deal. Manny was a very personable young man and genuine. Sales people can always turn on the charm to sell a car. Manny was just an all around good guy and a perfect salesman. So then came the dreaded Finance/Paperwork. This is where the wheels usually fall off the bus when buying a car. We met with a young woman named Kat Powell. We allowed her to explain all of our "add-on" warranty options etc. We were on a very tight budget, politely declined, and w/o hesitation she moved along. Before we met with her she did a good amount of inquiring and found a car loan rate directly from Subaru that beat our pre-approved credit union rate by 1.5% We signed all the paperwork electronically on a very state-of-the-art system. No need for a ton of paper to walk away with. Big shout outs to Kat, and especially to Manny for respecting our time and making my daughter's first new car purchase a great one! Should the need arise for a new Subaru in the future we will definitely return and ask for them. More
Have been a service customer at this dealership for nearly 15 years and have wanted to purchase a new vehicle there in the past but price drove me elsewhere. That was under the previous ownership. Was in the market this past month and decided to try again. Was curious to find out what the experience would be like post covid-based shortages and was surprised to find out that things are getting back to what they used to be. We knew the type of car we needed and shopped other brands and dealers in the Hagerstown area. I have owned two Subaru vehicles in the past and felt secure in including the brand in this search. When we arrived at Sheehy, we were contacted on the lot by Maria. Was impressed by her product knowledge, demeanor, and the fact that she listened to our needs and wants and didn't put any pressure on us to make a quick decision. After doing some more research, we called back to schedule a test drive and were happy with the results. We went into some negotiations for the car, knowing what we could spend, how we would pay, and what we needed to get for our trade-in. Max (the sales manager) worked with us to arrive at a price we could afford. We bought the car and were again impressed with Maria; she provided a another 'get to know' test drive to make sure we were still happy, introduced us to the features of the car in a way that helped us remember what the car (especially the electronics) could do for us, and made us feel warmly welcomed into the Sheehy family. All in all, a great experience front to back. Thanks to Maria, Max, and to Daniel in F&I for all you did for us. It was a pleasure and I will be back someday for another Subaru. (The new store is first-rate as well, didn't make it to service yet though we were offered an introduction). More
NIGHTMARE AT SHEEHY SUBARU Wow how do you turn an excellent sales experience into a nightmare. So bad that we walked out on the finance manager, Daniel Banicevic. My partner and I traveled to Hagerstown to Frederick to Sheehy Subaru. As a native Washingtonian I was familiar with Sheehy name and especially Sheehy Ford and considered them a reputable old DC business. We were greeted by a sales person Emmanuel "Manny" Luzurianga. He was friendly professional knowledgable and listened to our questions. He took us on three test drives until we found a car we wanted. We had our financing in order with a check for 2/3 of the costs and a bank loan for the remainder. Everything was in order and Manny said there would be no problem taking the car home. The sales manager also stopped in and confirmed that things were in order. However that is where the games and unprofessional approach began. After waiting we were ushered into see DANIEL BANICEVIC, the finance manager. So things started off poorly when after some small talk he turned to me and said I was making a good choice to buy my son a car. My partner quickly corrected him and rather than apologize he tried to blame his mistake on Manny saying he just repeated what he was told. A simple apology would have moved us on but he persisted. He then went on to tell us he was also from Frederick and had several massage parlors in Frederick. He inquired if he could have my card because he needed help finding new locations for his massage business. You have got to be kidding me. He then proceeded to down grade Manny's experience and try to convince us to buy warranty programs and loyalty programs that we had already rejected. In fact when I went out to the car to get our Maryland registration card he continued with my partner questioning how we could pass up the deals he was selling. Then he questioned the check and said it might be fraud and he could not rely on the check to be good. Our committed bank financing was then questioned and he stated that Sheeny does not accept bank wire transfer because they "are not reliable." He claimed he had never heard of the bank that has been in business for 125 years in Frederick. His issues were just another road block and he then stated that we could not take the car home after Manny had put the plates already on the car. The sales manager was worthless and just looked confused and not in control of the situation. So we got up and left the dealership with Daniel and the sales manager running out behind us. We Finally got the car two day later. We would have cancelled if it were not for our respect for Manny and how well he treated us. What a nightmare and unprofessional approach from Daniel. He is just rude and unprofessional and really gives the Sheeny name a sour taste in my mouth. He is the quintessential pressure salesperson that has no role in today's world. More

I've been wanting to leave a review for this dealership for a couple years now. When I needed a new vehicle, they were the only dealership that had the specific car I wanted within 100 miles of me. I called ahead to confirm and showed up the next day. Leo Murcia was quick to greet me on the lot and got me ready to test drive the car. He was very knowledgeable and he was a joy to talk to. Within an hour, I was approved for financing and made the down payment. And when I turned down the extended warranty and held firm on it, they didn't push it further. They also let me leave my old car in their parking lot until I could come later that week to pick it up. It was an all-around great experience, and I would happily go back again. More
