Was looking for a used car, quickly, after my 244,000-mile Taurus finally gave up. Went to Sheehy in Richmond and found a 6-cylinder 2006 Fusion SE (a car highly rated by CR) with 61,000 miles. The price was $1,000 less than Car Max wanted for a 2008 4-cylinder with the same mileage -- and Sheehy was willing to negotiate more off it. Ended up getting it for $10,500 or $11,344 when all the extra stuff was added in. Salesman Mike Carson was great to work with. The dealership had the Carfax showing the car not only had no issues but that all the maintenance had been performed. There was one minor glitch: The car originally came with just one key. I complained and it took a few days, but Mike and Sheehy got me a second key for free. More

I had a great experience at Sheehy Ford. Craig was very friendly, knowledgable and understanding of his customers needs. The only issue we had was that information that was discussed with Mr. Miller who was very understanding, when told to the business office didnt turn out that way. The frustration level hightened once we noticed that there was something wrong with the car and that same office was very quick to dismiss the issue but, still took a look at it once he noticed that the deal would not be complete unless this was checked. My monthly payment was $100 higher than what was asked. More

Josh Shepard explained every feature of the two cars that I test drove and helped me to compare the features of each car so I could make an informed decision. He was also very conscious of getting me the best deal possible. He told me about all the rebates available on the new 2011 ford focus and helped me to see what I would be getting for the price of the used 2010 ford fusion SEL. Unfortunately, I didn't feel either car was exactly what I was looking for and Josh continued to stay patient and said he could check other Sheehy locations for me. I explained to him that I wanted the 2010 ford focus but it had too many features for me and was a little too expensive. The same day he called me and said he had found a used 2010 ford focus SE at the ashland location. I was extrememly excited. The next day I test drove and bought my focus. I was truely impressed with how patient Josh was through the whole process. He answered all of my questions, got me a great deal on my focus, and never tried to pressure me into buying a car that was not suitable for me. Thank you. More
My experience with SHEEHY FORD is of a story book visit from beginning to end. Mike's customer service was impeccable as well as that of the entire staff. Mike was very attentive and extremely knowledgeable and honest and he cared not only about the sale, but about follow-up. He was energetic and did not seem to get frustrated at the many negotiations we requested that lasted over four days. And, most important, my wife is very happy...ha ha ha. A great experience with pricing, value, features, and the final deal gave us lots of options with no pressure, just good information. To add something else, we were confirmed Toyota customers, but we switched happily to Ford based on the company performance, great value vehicles, and Sheehy as a dealer. Well I signed my papers for my gently used vehicle and I gave them copies of my income and they call me almost 3weeks later telling me that I need to bring the vehicle back because my income wasn't enough f gave them copies of my income and they call me almost 3weeks later telling me that I need to bring the vehicle back because my income wasn't enough for the financial institution. Well before then I had contacted them about a letter that I had recieved from C & F and I was reassured that my contract was already signed and that my deal was complete. Now this mess. I'm put in a position where I would be behind in my payments for my trade-in with late fees and all, I have paid an extra fee for my insurance, and property taxes are about to hit. I am very disappointed in the steps that were taken in my situation. Then on top of that they are trying to act like I did something wrong on my application as far as my income. Not hardly when I provided them with a copy of my check stub which showed in black and white what I made. I put other incomes on my application and wasn't asked for proof but I do have that. This is very inappropriate for them to do this especially when before you get to the point of getting a loan they are suppose to make sure that everything is proper. More
