I have bought 3 vehicles (1 new, and 2 gently used) and have found the Ashland Sheehy Ford staff to be outstanding (especially my salesman - Derrick Pendergrass). In October 2011 my husband and I went car shopping and ended up at sheehy. I wasn't sure if I wanted a used or new car. Robert Nixon patiently worked with me to figure out what I wanted. He allowed me to test drive several vehicles and never made me feel like I was wasting his time. I ended up picking a Ford Escape. All I had to do was tell Rob what I wanted in a car and he found the perfect car for me. He made us comfortable while we waited for the loan papers to go through and even got us a complementary coffee. If I ever need to buy another car I would certainly buy one from Rob as he is very friendly and knowledgable. We were contacted by Sheehy Ford via one of their solicitation promos. The promo was customized for my husbands vehicle which was purchased at Sheehy Ford The letter indicated he would receive the ac solicitation promos. We looked at a truck we were interested in to accomodate the family. We allowed Sheehy to appraise our vehicle, and they appraised a vehicle they sold to us at half the value of the vehicle is actually worth. They said it appraised at that price because the vehicle needed 2 back tires. The vehicle we were attempting to trade ours in for was only one year newer and had high miles, it was priced higher than the vehicle was worth. Not only were they trying to low-ball us on a vehicle trade we purchased from them, but they lied and said they submitted our credit application to our credit union and we were not approved. I contacted our credit union, and was advised an application was never submitted. We were previously satisfied customers of Sheehy Ford in Ashland, however their sheisty behavior really changed our perception. I would never refer anyone to this business again. More

This is the third vehicle I have purchased from this location and every experience was better than the last. I worked with Vincent Ingarra. He did not have what I wanted in stock but was able to find the desired vehicle on a truck enroute to a Maryland dealership and arranged for it to be delivered to the Ashland dealership. I would like to add, the sales manager was aware of what was going on at all times, was able to answer any questions I had, and was a real plus to the sale. I worked with Robert who was EXTREMELYYY HELPFUL. Im 21 years old and my car unfortunately had an engine lock and i was looking to get a vehicle. I came into the Sheehy Ford office in Richmond V. My credit is in the 500s so it wasn't spectacular but I wanted to give it a try. My mother came along as well to help. When in the office the Richmond "Tower" and crew made it seem like I was going to get this 2011 Ford fusion but when they ran my scores they left me hanging for a week to "See what they could do ". The sales person at the Richmond office finally was nice enough to guide me to go to the Ashland location where Robert would help me. That was THE BEST RECOMMENDATION YET! Robert made my mom and dad fell at home as well as me. I had to end up having my mom as cosigner but Robert , Kevin and Patrick helped me to get a payment that was in my budget. The Ashland Tower was wonderful! If i lived closer I would always go to the Ashland office. They were very friendly. Robert helped me see the perks of the Ford Fusion and got me a VIP PASS !
