I visited sheehy saturday march 30th to get a tie rod on my truck repaired/replaced. Cindy seemed more interested in pushing me to bring my vehicle in a different day than getting it fixed. Been to your shop many times and she has had the poorest attitude i have come across. I was told that there were no diesel mechanics on saturday and that they had too many state inspections to do. Derrick and Sheehy Ford was recommended to me by a friend who just bought a new 2013 Fusion Hybrid. We live in the VA Beach/Chesapeake area, but the deal was so good and Derrick worked so hard to find us the right car, it was an easy decision to make the 4 hour drive to buy the car from Sheehy Ford. The total buying experience was amazingly easy and friendly. I'm in the Navy, no affiliation to Sheehy, but you have to check with them before you buy. More

i bought a 2012 f 150 8/29/12,left it at the dealer to have accessories installed,took almost 2 weeks to have that done.picked truck up day before vacation,while loading truck to come home from vacation,i have accessories installed,took almost 2 weeks to have that done.picked truck up day before vacation,while loading truck to come home from vacation,i noticed bubbles in paint on roof.i called the dealership & told them about.i took it by the next saturday to show travis & john,i told them i did not want the truck because of defective paint.travis assured me the body shop could fix it.they picked the truck up ,left me a 2010 f 150 with no gas,had truck over a week,when i got it back,i noticed there was bubbles in the paint on the tail gate,also damage on left rear quarter under tail light,still had defects on roof.i emailed travis & told him i wanted my money back or a new truck.he said the general manager said thats what a warranty is for.they picked the truck again,made repairs & brought it back.this time there was damage on the tail gate,spot on roof wiyh no paint,pits in tail gate & more bubbles on roof,went back to dealer ship,talked to john.they picked truck back up monday.on tuesday jb from the body shop calls & wants to know why my truck is there,i told him about the problems,almost 2 weeks later i got the truck back.tail gate still has pits in paint,plus a scratch,roof still has bubbles in paint,pits in repaired areas,spot with no paint still there.it is ashame to be paying for a new truck & be driving a used truck while the dealer has it more than you. More
Our experience with Vinnie Ingarra was awesome. He is a very friendly and warm person and unlike the many pushy salespeople we have come in contact over the years. We have bought a F150 ad a Caliber from him and will use him again in the future for our children's first cars. We know Vinnie will help us find what we want within our price range. I could go on and on about Vinnie, but i will end with this, Not only is he the perfect car salesman he isn't bad to look at either. More
I purchased a Ford F-150 from Sheehy Ford Ashland 3 years ago. Salesman convinced me to also purchase extended care warranty saying "You won't have to pay for anything". WRONG. My factory warranty ran out ago. Salesman convinced me to also purchase extended care warranty saying "You won't have to pay for anything". WRONG. My factory warranty ran out in March. Unfortunately for me, I noticed a leak in my third brake light in May with water damage to my headliner and when I approached my service manager, his only response was that they knew the trucks were having this problem. Because my factory warranty had run out (only by 45 days) and of course, the extended care warranty doesn't cover "weather-stripping", they offered to get me a quote to fix the problem to the tune of $1,200. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE. Sheehy has serviced my vehicle from day one. I drive over 1 hour because I am a dedicated customer; however, they didn't feel the need to let me know to keep an eye on this potential issue with my truck; nor did they bother to check on the issue when my truck was in for servicing. They simply claim they are not responsible for notifying customers of "technical service bulletins" (which they got on this issue a long time ago) and have washed their hands of the issue. Resolution - I offered to pay for the part if they would put in - but that's not good enough for them. Obviously loyalty and customer satisfaction are not a qualities that Sheehy Ford cares about. Just purchased a 2012 Focus, I was very pleased by the overall customer service, and especially pleased with the salesman's knowledge of the product. Fantastic car buying experience - will recommend to anyone! I just bought a 2013 Mustang V6 from Sheehy Ford Ashland. I have bought quite a few cars before and, while every time I was eventually happy anyone! I just bought a 2013 Mustang V6 from Sheehy Ford Ashland. I have bought quite a few cars before and, while every time I was eventually happy with my deals, the process of getting there was often very lengthy and painful, with countless emails and phone calls across many dealerships. This time it all changed – I was able to strike a fantastic deal in less than a day and get the precise car I wanted with perfect overall servicing experience. The internet sales manager I worked with, Vinnie Ingarra, was one of the most skilled car sales managers I have ever dealt with and a great asset for the company. Couple points I wanted to mention: - He was genuinely interested in selling me a car I wanted and more focused on making a customer happy than making more money on a car. - He quickly understood my needs and my level of preparation for negotiations. With his second email, he came up with the offer that was absolutely fantastic (and I cross-checked plenty of dealers around). I avoided days of pointless negotiations on the car I most wanted in the entire Virginia. - His overall service was top notch – he focused on listening and understanding what I wanted versus trying to push me in a certain direction, like it happened with me many times before. Also, all my minor requests were fulfilled, and some of them were not free for the dealership. Special thanks to Derrick Pendergrass (General Sales Manager) for backing this deal and his willingness to promptly approve some of the extra favors I was asking for even after the deal was struck. Overall, Sheehy Ford of Ashland seems to have built a fantastic team that is genuinely interested in meeting customers’ needs and selling more cars rather than just trying to waste your time in pointless negotiations. I am definitely coming back when my next car swap is due. More
