I HATE buying cars. I don't like small talk. I'm not conniving. I'm pretty straightforward. The whole smarmy "Hey little lady, what will it take to sell you a car today" stuff makes me nauseous. So when our car died of old age a week before we planned to start shopping for a new one, I was discouraged. Not only did I have to buy a car, but without the benefit of a trade-in. Our mechanic suggested we try Sheehy Ford. Since we go to our mechanic (C&C Auto in West Point) because of his honesty and reasonable cost as well as for his car expertise, I trusted his advice. I'm glad we did. My husband did the initial reconnoitering. Our salesman was Antoine, and even though we were not looking for an expensive car, he gave us top service. He. answered all our questions, went looking for the answers when he didn't have the answers, and seemed to really enjoy the process. Gregory, the business manager, got us a better deal on financing than I hoped for as a fledgling small business owner. Like Antoine, he seemed to really enjoy his work, not in a false, salesman-bright kind of way either. We ended up buying a Nissan Murano from their used cars. We had a minor problem with the vehicle the next day. It's taken a little while to get it resolved, but we were well cared for. Everyone we dealt with was open about the problem, what they would do to solve the problem, and answered my slightly pointed questions with good humor. Antoine arranged a loaner car for us, and even filled the tank with gas for us. The sales managers, Kevin and Travis, talked to us to make sure we were happy with the service we recieved. They even talked to us about our particular car issue, and had done some investigating about our issue by calling a local Nissan dealership, qnd looking up information on the internet. We are still getting the final resolution, but I feel confident that their service will continue to be top notch and they are really pulling out the stops to take care of us. Usually, car lots and the people associated with them make me want to burn my clothes and take a shower after I'm done. I could actually see myself stoppung by to say hi to the gentlemen from Sheehy Ford. More

Kevin was brand new to Sheehy. I was his first sale. He spent a lot of time showing me the difference in several cars so I knew what I was getting. In the end they did not have the car I wanted but they s spent a lot of time showing me the difference in several cars so I knew what I was getting. Every one was helpful, they took my old car as a trade with out seeing it. I think I got a great deal. With the warrenty and the oil change program they offer, my car should be worry free for the next six years. My son had bought a car from Sheehy in Sept and he was very happy with the end result. I needed to replace my 2004 Ford Explorer. I bought it 10 years ago at Sheehy Ford of Ashland and drove it 246,000 miles. I loved this vehicle and it met my needs perfectly. But there comes a time in the life of every vehicle that it is necessary to trade it in and get something newer.. The people at Sheehy Ford of Ashland have always been excellent to me and treated me well. So I began there in my quest to get a replacment vehicle. When I went there, I enjoyed seeing and catching up with Travis Thomas again, It is always nice to see a familar face and Travis was there ten years ago when I bought my previous vehicle. Another reason I went back to Sheehy was that I got a lot of life and quality miles out of my old Explorer because of the service department staff there. Sheehy service department manager (Frank Tinney) is very professional and he has always helped me keep up with any regular maintenance issues my Explorer has needed. I know I can always count on him to get me in and out in a timely manner and have the work done right. A few days ago I met and talked with Cedric Willis about trading in my old vehicle and getting into a new 2014 Ford Explorer. Cedric took the time to show me all the new 2014 models and features available. From there I was able to decide the options and features that I wanted in my new Explorer and match it up to the price range I was comfortable with. After searching the lot inventory and checking the internet I found a vehicle that I liked sitting at another Sheehy dealership. Cedric had it brought to Ashland for me to look at. Paperwork is signed and I'm stoked to be in my new ride. It's beautiful and perfect for me. I'll keep going back to Sheehy Ford of Ashland for all my vehicle purchase and service needs. More

I worked with Cedric Willis and John McGrane and they were both incredibly customer oriented and made me feel welcome the moment I arrived at the dealership. The trade-in value they offered me for my vehicle was higher than competing dealers in the area and I was given the maximum amount they would offer upfront, no negotiating for hours just to get a decent trade-in value. I can honestly say this is the best car dealership experience I've had. Even though they are twenty minutes farther than my closest Ford dealership I plan to use them for maintenance requirements as well. More
