Used Car Purchase from Sheehy Ford - Darrick Randall I came to Sheehy Ford of Ashland looking for a specific car- a Volvo S60. I had seen a car online, but until I saw it in person I did not realize it w I came to Sheehy Ford of Ashland looking for a specific car- a Volvo S60. I had seen a car online, but until I saw it in person I did not realize it wasn't exactly what I wanted. Darrick helped facilitate a different Volvo S60 being brought down from a sister store in Maryland. The car arrived at the dealership in Ashland the next day, and fit my specifications exactly. Throughout the whole process, Darrick was knowledgeable, friendly, and laidback. I appreciated the fact that he was not pressuring me, as this was my first car purchase on my own. I decided to purchase the vehicle and all of the staff at Sheehy Ford helped make that process easy. I received a fair deal, and everything else was hassle-free. Trevor Coley, one of the finance managers, help me secure an interest rate lower than I ever thought possible. Also, the car had Maryland inspection stickers on it, which obviously needed to be changed. Darrick facilitated the car being picked up from my work the next day to get inspected and brought back all without inconveniencing me. The whole experience was a positive one. More

Easiest Vehicle Purchase Ever ! My husband and I were in the market for a new pickup and after extensive online 'window shopping' we decided to visit Sheehy Ford of Ashland. Neither of us had ever done business with them before, in fact this is our first Ford ownership experience. From the moment we arrived on the lot to driving away with our new F-150 XLT Pickup the total elapsed time was 2 hours. Mr. Kerry Harrell greeted us as we were exiting our car and took very good care of us throughout the entire process. He was energetic, enthusiastic and friendly as well as professional, courteous and very customer-service oriented. He helped us find the truck we were interested in as well as showing us a couple of others that might be a good fit for us. There was no selling pressure at all. It was our pleasure to meet him and do business with him, and we both would recommend him to anyone considering a vehicle purchase. We also had the pleasure of meeting and working with Mr. Trevor Coley on the financing arrangements. He is a remarkable young man! A joy to interact with, so friendly and down to earth. A few years ago, while visiting family in Richmond, we were ready to purchase a new vehicle. New York is not known for the nicest customer service, so we figured we'd give Virginia a try. We drove into Sheehy Ford of Ashland, in the old location. Immediately upon driving into the lot, we were greeted with smiles and friendly hellos. We knew exactly what we wanted and what budget we needed to stay in. Our sales associate at the time, was above and beyond helpful. He consulted with Sales Manager, Kevin Anderson, throughout our entire purchase to ensure we were getting the best deal possible. Mr. Anderson worked so hard making sure we were happy, satisfied and having a positive experience. My husband and I couldn't believe the lengths Mr. Anderson was going to in order to meet our needs. He was unwilling to let us walk out of the door without having exactly what we wanted and not comprise any of our wants. Our first experience with Sheehy Ford of Ashland sealed the deal for us never going to another car dealership ever again - and it was all due to Kevin Anderson. Fast Forward a few years later, we now needed to trade in our vehicle. Living in New York, a 6 1/2 hour drive from Ashland, we didn't even think twice about where we were going to trade in our vehicle. We packed a bag and got on the road specifically to go see Kevin Anderson at Sheehy Ford of Ashland at his new dealership location. We were greeted by Sales Consultant, Nick Awad. He was welcoming, friendly and easy to work with - unlike most sales associates who are pushy and intimidating. Mr. Awad made us feel right at home. We explained we came back for Mr. Anderson, who completely changed our views about deceitful dealerships. It was no surprise that Mr. Anderson was still trying to give us the most amazing experience possible. Mr. Awad worked along side Mr. Anderson the entire time, giving us the most undivided attention. This time our needs were a bit more specific in the Ford Escape Model we were purchasing. That didn't deter Mr. Anderson for one second in getting us exactly what we asked for. Mr. Anderson searched hi and low for the vehicle that suited our. He and Mr. Awad even walked their gigantic lot, THEMSELVES, to find the perfect vehicle for us. We have never once seen a manager so hands on, so involved and so determined to help his customers. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt a calmness and knew we were in amazing hands. We knew having Kevin Anderson on our side that we didn't need to worry for one single second. Mr. Anderson is the most honest and trustworthy person and Sales Manager we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Prior to going to Sheehy Ford, we always had anxiety walking into a dealership. We knew we'd have to be strong, play the game and look at every single word in fine print to make sure we weren't getting the rug pulled out from under us and signing our names to the worst deal imaginable. Once we found Mr. Anderson at Sheehy Ford of Ashland, we NEVER EVER have to play any games ever again. It's the most relaxing, refreshing and relieving feeling to work with Kevin Anderson and his staff. Mr. Anderson makes sure that his staff carries the same work ethic at he does. I never have to worry which associate I will get - they all follow in the example Mr. Anderson sets. Our Sales Consultant, Mr. Awad, sat with us every second of the way, confident that Sheehy Ford will rise to the occasion every time. From the top down, Kevin Anderson ensure that everyone at his dealerships provide a positive experience for their customers. Most times, once the anxiety has surpassed in dealing with the salesman, customers usually have to take a deep breath again and have immense tension going into the financing department. This is usually the part where they push extra packages on you and make you feel stress in declining. This was the complete opposite experience when working with Finance Manager, Trevor Coley. Not only was Mr. Coley warm and welcoming, but he came out to the sales floor to US, to introduce himself. This one little gesture, completely broke any tension we felt in having to go into the finance department. Once we were with Mr. Coley in the finance department, he took the time to ask how we were, how our experience was going, what brought us to Virginia. It just made us feel cared about. There was no pressure in adding anything on. Mr.Coley simply explained our options and what Ford had to offer us. This made us feel that we can choose what we really wanted and needed, not saying yes because we felt bullied into doing so. Kevin Anderson realizes that the little things DO matter. It's not just signing your name on the dotted line. It's about making his customers feel like they truly matter, not just another name up on a board to meet their sales goals. We hope that Ford knows EXACTLY how fortunate they are to have Kevin Anderson and his staff representing the Ford Name. We know from first hand experience, that whether going to other dealerships outside of Ford or other Ford Dealerships, they all pale in comparison to Sheehy Ford of Ashland. It is not the Ford name that makes it great - it is Kevin Anderson who makes a great name for Ford. Now having gone all the way from New York to Virginia and having the pleasure of working with Kevin Anderson, Nick Awad and the rest of their staff, has sealed the deal from us ever going to any other dealership. No matter how far we are, we will always follow Kevin Anderson and travel great lengths to work with him. Son's First car purchase My son and I came into the dealership to speak with someone in regards to a SUV that was featured on the website. The internet saleman was unavailable My son and I came into the dealership to speak with someone in regards to a SUV that was featured on the website. The internet saleman was unavailable at the time and Mr. Harrell asked if we needed assistance. We explained that my son had been approved for a loan through the credit for $5000.00. Mr. Harrell to the extra time to explaine to us the difference in what type of loan my son needed versus the one he had been aprpoved for and the SUV he came to look at would not qualify for the purchase with the approved loan he was already approved for. From there, Mr. Harrell took my 20 year old son under his wing and showed him several cars and actually sat him down and spoke with him as if he was his son from what type of financing he needed and what each step of the approval process entailed. That made me feel very welcome and comfortable to move forward in considering the purchase with my son of a used vehicle. The car ultimately chosen by my son and myself was a 2010 Honda Civic it was a basic car with not all the bells and whistles that my son needed since this was his first car. He allowed my son to test drive it for the day while he secured financing and assured him that somehow he was going to work it out to get him financed. Mr. Harrell not only got us approved but he went even further bu allowing my son to test drive it for the weekend and worked to get it financed with a credit union with a good APR as we had originally desired when we first got there. Mr. Harrell also worked out a very good warrantly that I myself am jealous of with my own car. I TRULY enjoyed my experience at Sheey Ford of Ashland as I adventured with my son in search of and obtaining his first car. More
