My last two vehicles have come My salesman, Jeff Terranella, gave me a great trade in deal for my 2008 Yukon and a great sales price on a 2015 Yukon. My last two vehicles have come from Patsy Lou. They have the best selection and best trade in price. I will always give them the first shot at selling me a vehicle. More
Ripped off I have been to Patsy Lou twice for a shaking steering wheel upon using breaks. Upon the first visit, I requested 4 new rotors and new breaks. After le I have been to Patsy Lou twice for a shaking steering wheel upon using breaks. Upon the first visit, I requested 4 new rotors and new breaks. After leaving the first visit, my car continued to shake. I was and am a full time student and was working full time at that time. In addition, Patsy Lou is an hour commute from where I was living at that time. After 9 months when I finally had a chance to return my car for the same problem, it was discovered that only 2 new rotors had been put on my car. Finally, after being at Patsy Lou twice I thought my problem was solved. It was not. I know nothing about cars so I then I thought the problem had nothing to do with brakes/rotors to start with. Since that time I have replaced tires, had front end alignments and had my vehicle driven to diagnose it. It was not until 2.5 years later when I had my second brake job done somewhere else did they discover those second new rotors that were put on my car where the wrong rotors for a Pontiac G6! They were 40 mm too large and destroyed my brand new brakes weeks after I had left the second time. I called Patsy Lou to resolve this. At this point, they are never touching my car again and I only requested a refund for the 2 wrong rotors and the 2 brakes that were destroyed. After being laughed at and told I was not going to get a refund, I have decided to never go there for the terrible service and customer service again. I was accused of putting on different rotors and was told there is no way for me to prove that they sold this product to me. Apparently they do not track any parts with numbers/receipts so good luck proving they put wrong parts on your car. They will just accuse you of putting the wrong part on yourself. The only good reviews they have are on their own website. Funny I wasn't allowed to tell people how their actual service is. More
$7,000.00 in Repairs in 14 months *READ ME* Got in a bind with the car I had and bought my first car from a dealership back on February 09, 2013, it was a 2001 PT Cruiser with 129,808. Blue book Got in a bind with the car I had and bought my first car from a dealership back on February 09, 2013, it was a 2001 PT Cruiser with 129,808. Blue book price in excellent condition is roughly $3,000 they took my Grand am in for a trade in 1,150.00 and I put down 400.00 and charged me 9,971.12; 1,800.00 of this was a warranty that the finance associate suggested. Chad did also recommend other vehicles but this is the one I had wanted at the time with the stipulation that a full 172 point inspection was done even if I had to pay out of pocket for it. "Well we have to do an inspection before it leaves the lot." he says, I get the paperwork back and it says nothing just that AN inspection was done; not the one I wanted. March 29, 2013 the service department told me it needed new bushings, struts, tires and power steering pump and pulley. I was told if they did not cover it under my warranty then I would have to pay the $45.00 service fee. Jenna suggested that I talk to the finance manger because I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR. Well they didn't cover the struts or tires because they're maintenance repairs. I ended up paying $121.20 while the total job was $595.27. April 10, 2013 I went to a mechanic shop called Rollison's Service Inc. that I love and trust to take care of the struts, front 2 tires, alignment and found out that the 16 inch chrome rims on the car were peeling and causing air to leak from the tires this cost me $689.35. On June 05, 2013 I returned to Rollison's due to overheating and what sounded like the boiling of fluids and said it was probably a water pump leak, they filled the fluid changed my oil told me it had an aftermarket engine thread and recommended thermostat and timing belt in addition, this cost me $88.32. The same day I took it to the service department at Patsy Lou for an overnight stay and they couldn't find anything wrong "did 3 pressure tests" and found nothing so they didn't charge me for it. However this problem continued to come and go. July 23, 2013 Rollison's grinded the peeling rims to help but couldn't guarantee how long this would help, there's another $25.00. Here's the kicker October 04, 2013 the overheating came back, cylinder head and block were warped, tie rods in front and rear were bad *Only the front was covered*, fan system was bad, belts, oil and filter replaced. They told me that if this wasn't covered I'd have to pay the $500.00 just for tearing the car APART, not putting it back together. I told Toni (who has been helpful on the otherhand aside from this remark) "I don't know if you have a rich uncle or something to pay for things." Mind you I'm 20 years old now working as a pharmacy technician going back to school, I've worked 2 jobs since I was 16 years old went to college full time and would Never take advantage of anyone especially for money I work for all I have and I found that more than insulting. I talked to a lawyer who said that they gave me an improper odometer reading statement, neglected to put the sign that says as is and warranty that I received during signing in the window along with the price on the vehicle itself prior to purchase and that if I did not receive a copy of the work order prior to pickup I was not responsible for the charges however in that fine print there is an arbitration clause that prevents you from taking it to court so I had a perfectly winnable case had it not been for the clause and that the warranty is a lie in most cases unless it is from a manufacturer because what happens is the service calls someone else who says well out of the 1800.00 or so this person paid how much is left and they either say yeah let them get it or no don't. (Not sure how much of that is the honest truth but that's what I was told) So I finally give in and tell them okay they ask me to pay $800.00 out of the 4,416.60 (I was under the impression I was going to receive a new engine, got a junk yard engine and was told that it had less miles than what I had originally but was never told nor shown what those miles were. December 19, 2013 had Rollison's finally replace 2 of the rims $197.09. February 24, 2014 no fuses are fried but headlights, interior lights won't work, not covered in warranty, Rollison's does $400.00 worth of rewiring due to the faulty wiring job done by the people who put in the automatic start prior to me purchasing the vehicle with Patsy Lou still needed additional work because Rollison's said it could be a fire hazard still. March 21, 2014 got oil changed at Rollison's said the link, linkage arms and sway bar links need to be changed in rear to stop rattling $50.32 for diagnostic and change. April 22, 2014 drove to mount pleasant for college orientation battery light came on alternator went bad had to have my boyfriend come tow the car to Patsy Lou I paid $190.11 out of the $564.25 to replace the alternator and a wire that wasn't covered that cost $5-$10 and $80.00 in labor. They now tell me about a the GM preferred card you can use on repairs and service parts....they sold me the car but can't order in Chrysler parts. I got a lease car from Randy Wise in Flint and have had a whole new experience please don't go to Patsy Lou they've robbed me, caused me anxiety and almost turned me off from buying cars altogether; I'd hate to see that happen to someone else.
