The visit didn't start off strong when 3 salesmen were crowding the door, asking me about my interest before even letting me inside. The salesman was nice and upfront with me when I asked about the mailer -I figured the mailer wasn't a deal winning ticket but I was interested in test driving a car so I saw no downside - but I saw other shoppers being strung along when trying to claim my prize. They then handed me a credit application as a "prize validation" document. I asked why they needed social security info the salesman had to ask his manager to make sure they didn't. That's when I saw another customer in at least his 80's being walked through the document by another salesman. I can't speak for certain that he was being taken advantage of, but the whole process was intentionally misleading. More
Ax needed to be fixed. I took my company car in to have the ac fixed. The first day I went in I called the day before and they said I could bring it in but when I went in th I took my company car in to have the ac fixed. The first day I went in I called the day before and they said I could bring it in but when I went in they were overbooked. Then I came back a couple of days later with an 8 o'clock appointment. And I was there from eight in the morning to 2 PM waiting on my air conditioning to be fixed. Then I was told that it needed a valve that they did not have in stock. I had to come back the next morning to get it done once again. I witnessed other customers in the waiting room having to deal with this same situation. They don't have the necessary parts in and overbook appointments! More

Why making appts do not matter Do not bother with the Chat option. My call was never returned. I then called and made an appt and dropped my car off the evening prior. I called the next day around noon and my car had not been looked at. I asked if I should pick it up. The service rep informed me that cars were moving slow that day and he would call me back. I received a call after 3 pm letting me know they were finally looking at my car. 8 hr wait, it took them only 30 min to diagnose the issue. After that point, and a $90 diagnostic fee, I decided to take my car elsewhere to have the service done. I would suggest Shawnee Mission Ford only to those who have an unlimited amt of time to wait and enjoy poor customer service. More

AJ and Omar (the car selling duo) went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to get into the car that I not only wanted, but needed. No pressure whatsoever to buy any overstocked (and quite frankly too small for my needs) cars like a Focus or anything over my budget. Great for a college student or single-person gas saver, not good for a 4 person family with a car seat and extra luggage on trips. They understood. No argument. Awesome! I would have walked away otherwise. I purchased the vehicle during a promotion. The people running finance for the promotion gave me an answer that I simply could not swallow and could not afford; however, AJ and Omar made sure that the first answer I got wasn't the last one, got me into a brand new 2017 Fusion, pushed to ensure my trade in was completely paid off in the process, and kept the ball rolling through the entire transaction. I couldn't be happier with their service. If you're looking for a new or newer vehicle, go see AJ or Omar. You won't be disappointed. Also, a big thanks to Mark and Julie in finance for answering all of my questions and even re-completing the paperwork to include an extra discount. :) More

Misleading on pricing I inquired about a 2016 Ford Taurus that they listed for 22,000 after rebates. I been in contact with a salesman about the car and he confirmed that t I inquired about a 2016 Ford Taurus that they listed for 22,000 after rebates. I been in contact with a salesman about the car and he confirmed that the is priced at 22,000 and I could drive it of today. So I drive to the dealership and test drive the car and when we went inside to start the paperwork he suprised me. He stated that I might not qualify for comma which included Horseman membership farming Association others which total up to $6,000 in rebates which bringing the car up to $28,000. Then we're out looking at my car or give it an appraisal came back with a monthly figure of $578 for 72 months and asking me if I wanted to buy the car. Then asked me how did that sound I asked him how could they sell me a car without a praising mind and giving me a figure which included any pay off of my vehicle in that figure. I asked him since you said the total price of your car was $22,000 and you did not explain that I would not qualify for all the rebates how could you justify telling me that I didn't qualify for some rebates he said that was standard. At that time I left the dealership. This is the second time I went to a dealership who has done this and there's nothing on their website stating that it included these odd rebates of how they got to the final price which 99.9% of the people would not qualify for. I think this is false advertising on the dealerships part. More

Oil change I went in for oil change at 745 am , at 945 my cars oil change was not even started . I asked for my keys and we left.
