We bought a used jeep from shaver jeep that was still under warrenty. About a month later it wouldn't start. We had it towed to shaver and it took them 4 days to even look at the car, no rental car was under warrenty. About a month later it wouldn't start. We had it towed to shaver and it took them 4 days to even look at the car, no rental car was offered during this period, they finnaly decided it was a problem with the starter and "fixed it.". A few weekes later it wouldn't start again. We took it back and were asked to pay our 150 dollar decutiable again for the same problem they couldn't fix/find the first time. They refused to budge on this fact even though the car had just been in for the same problem. This time they decided it was the battery and replaced it. This was the very suggestion that my husband had made the first time we brought it in that was ignored. Fast forward a few months and the car just turned off while I was driving it twice! I was only on residential streets both times, but had I been in the fast lane going 65 with traffic behind me I could have been in a very serious accident. When we contacted Shaver about this problem and explained our past issues they bassicly told us to suck a lemon. It would be the 150 deductible again, even though their obviously subpar work had failed to fix the real problem twice. I will never go Shaver Jeep again! It's not just their lack of customer service(which is glaring), but their shotty work could have gotten me killed. I recommend Dependable Dodge in Canoga Park. More

The customer service provided by Tim Ott was outstanding!! He knew the Jeep models very well. The dealership had the best inventory of all of the dealers in the Los Angeles area. I cannot express how many dealerships we had visited prior to coming to Shaver.Nor can I express the level of disappointment as well as stress we accumilated from these dealerships. We had even almost finalized a sale from another dealership but it was because of Brenton and Ira that we declined the other dealership and chose to do business with Shaver. From the moment we walked into the building to the moment of leaving the building the entire experience was phenominal. Brenton knew exactly what we were looking for and worked with us for hours on negotiating prices, the details of the car (which he was highly informative) and ultimately making sure that we would not leave his lot without being completely satisfied. With the help of Ira (financing manager) and Brenton we left the lot purchasing a brand new 2012 Dodge Avenger with 30 miles on it. These men are phenominal and I highly recommened doing business with them. We can all relate to how stressful,taxing, demanding or exasperating buying a car can be. These men and this dealership did quite the opposite and made my car buying experience absolutely un-regretable. In addition to Brenton's hard work the dealership also gave me 7 gallons of free gas as included in the contract. I absolutely LOVE my new car and it is all due to Brenton Laughlin and Ira. I would recommend these men to anyone and everyone. I do not know the level of Brenton's postiton but he is an absolute great example of GREAT customer service. Thank you. More
I can recommend Brenton and this dealership. We negotiated by phone and text message and Brenton and the dealership honored the deal that we made. I of course had to make sure that they enumerated all the fees by text message, initially they were trying to add in some $500 of extra fees in addition to tax and license. But it worked out, and there was no BS on the price after we agreed and I got there. The finance guy did try to sell the warrantees of course (which I declined) but he was not too pushy about it, and I was very pleased that he ended up giving me a better rate through Chrysler than my credit union was offering. My complaints are only minor -- it seemed to take a very long time to get my jeep, and I didn't have an owners manual or anything to look at. It took so long that Brenton was already working past his normal shift and thus didn't have much time with me once the Jeep was finally available. Not a big deal as I can figure most of it out myself. I will say that it was beautifully detailed. I also had good conversations with the parts and service people. Another minor complaint is that per the dealer policy, they only give you 7 gallons of gas! Pretty cheap in my opinion. Also, if I was this dealer, I would keep an owners manual for each of their vehicles in the dealership for people to look through when you're buying the car. (the Jeeps don't come with a printed one nowadays, but Jeep sends you one if you call them after you buy it). More
