I knew we were in for a ride with these clowns. As other reviewers suggest customer service is nonexistent. Of course the fact that we brought in an electric car for warranty work doesn’t help. Impossible to get any information from service department even if they answer the phone. Three days in the shop for a simple fix, scheduled 2 months out. And when we drove the 40 miles back to pick it up they had drained the battery doing the work and test driving but never even bothered to plug it in, so now we’re waiting 2 hours to get enough juice to get home. Every person was rude and unhelpful. I wonder if it was a gas guzzling super truck they’d have a better attitude? More

Today this Shaver Automotive Group charged me for an oil change, filters change, tires rotation, and exchange of differentials lubricant the amount of $205, just for labor. This routine maintenance was done in less than one hour. The total of the bill was $465.12, much more than the double I used to pay in another dealer for the same service. I asked, but no explanation was done for the labor hour table. Also, no clear justification was done. I felt like I was being robbed and cheated. Never this place, unless you want to feel cheated and or robbed. More

Chris REALLY took care of us when we bought our car in for a check engine light. It was two days before Thanksgiving, they were super busy, but he still got the car fixed and got EVERYTHING covered under for a check engine light. It was two days before Thanksgiving, they were super busy, but he still got the car fixed and got EVERYTHING covered under the warranty. Got it back before the holiday and didn't pay a dime (would've cost thousands without the warranty). Highly recommend! More
Total lack of communication I dealt with both Chris and Mike and neither of them communicated what was going on with my car. My car was in for service for three weeks before I f I dealt with both Chris and Mike and neither of them communicated what was going on with my car. My car was in for service for three weeks before I finally got it back. They want to communicated with you via text but they just don't communicate. I wish I had asked around because everyone in the Thousand Oaks area knows that the service department is horrible and rude. More
Worst experience ever!!! Brought my car in for service in my lights that has turned off and stop working. Service advisor never contacted us back to let us know what was the issue, Jeep stayed there for almost a month! Every time I call for updates, my advisor was always on ouch break... I asked to speak to the service manager, he was rude and told me if I want my car back I need to speak to my advisor, days passed and he never reach out to us! Long story short, the cashier ended up calling us to let us know our car was ready, we asked to speak to “chris’ my service advisor, and he didn’t want to talk to us. This is the WORST SERVICE EVER! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! More

I am over 60 with Rheumatoid Arthritis, so I didn't get down on the ground and look under the car. when I got home with the car, a friend standing at the bottom of the driveway noticed that the car was totally rusted on the bottom. I wish I could post a picture as it is unbelievable. I called to return the car and was told that all Jeeps look like this. I was even told that they would take me over and show me the bottom on brand new jeeps and I would see rust. This is NOT true. The ENTIRE undercarriage of the car was rusted. It looks like the car was in a flood and not cared for. In addition, the passenger seatbelt didn't work. They said they would fix it, but I didn't want to spend $24,000 for a totally rusted car so I returned it. They lied to me numerous times about numerous issues. Cost me 750 hard-earned dollars but I was able to return it. Bought a Jeep at a different dealer the next day - no rust. More

The fact that Shaver and Chrysler Corp. continues to employ this guy is unfortunate, at best. His name is getting around town as the jerk at Shaver, supported by Chrysler Corp. The fact that Shaver and Chrysler Corp., supports Mike and his bullying tactics are a reflection on Shavers and Chrysler's values, not good for the organization. After sharing my experiences with friends and family, I’ve found several other women who have had the same experience with Mike Allen and his thug behavior. They are also spreading the word about the type of treatment to expect from Shaver of Thousand Oaks, CA - The WORST - Do yourself and all women a favor, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TYPE OF ORGANIZATION!!! Deplorable This Dealership practices scare tactics, lies, aggressive behavior, and deception to try to sell cars. Specifically Wes Remington and John McCann. Aft This Dealership practices scare tactics, lies, aggressive behavior, and deception to try to sell cars. Specifically Wes Remington and John McCann. After being coached to exaggerate income on a credit application the finance manager Wes Remington tried to get additional down payment and raise the monthly payment on a lease contract stating that without proof of income the contract constituted fraud. The dealership sent a form titled "Notice of Contract Cancellation". The form further stated "Upon your return of the Vehicle to us, we will give back to you all consideration you have paid to us for the Vehicle".Once the vehicle was returned Wes Remington stated that there would be a $1000.00 restocking fee. He threatened that the contract was in "Breach" Legal Ramifications were to ensue. When speaking to the man who identified himself as the General Manager, John McCann he stated that "He was not going to make this easy" The dealership BLOCKED the vehicle in and demanded the keys. Stating they were going to file a "stolen vehicle report" and still would not follow thru with the process lined out in the "Notice of Contract Cancellation"that THEY SENT OUT! Leaving the dealership and calling the Owner the next day the call was returned by John McCann Stating that the owner Chris Shaver did not want to speak to anyone about this deal. After a second call to try to speak to the owner he picked up the phone. He seemed concerned, as he should have been, and said to come in and he would refund the down payment. Upon arrival Chris apologized and said that this is not how business should be done. I would stay away from this dealer at all cost. More
Check Engine Light Still on after $650 for parts and labor, I had to come in for recall on my airbag, ask if they could fix my engine light. Sure no problem, have it done by end of day, RIGHT! Next day the adv I had to come in for recall on my airbag, ask if they could fix my engine light. Sure no problem, have it done by end of day, RIGHT! Next day the adviser said it needs a coil and would be done by end of day, RIGHT! Next day, adviser says it needs wires and then if would be fixed, SURE! Bottom line, 3 days and $650 later, engine light still on. More
