I would like to start by saying this is the worst service I have ever received. Dennis was our case manager and we were quoted over $13K for damage repair on our van. He then told our insurance it would be 20 days for repair. We took out a rental car during this time through our insurance, but when our 30 days ran out we discovered the service center had not even touched our vehicle. After escalation to manager we discovered the wrong part was ordered and that we would get a courtesy vehicle. They gave us a Jeep Cherokee which is 5 seats as opposed to our 7 seater van. I have 3 kids in carseats and they do not fit so my son has been in a travel carseat. We were then given an ETA on the new parts arrival to the service center. This date has been changed 3x adding 3 weeks to the time our van was at the service center. We now know that the correct part is in the service center and when asked for an ETA Dennis told us that he would maybe have an ETA next week. I think it's ridiculous that he keeps pushing us another week and we have not received a larger courtesy vehicle. I think Dennis is paid to lie to customers. I cannot imagine what he does for work. I would not recommend taking your car here. More
I brought my jeep in for a battery and wiring repair. I got it back with a nasty stain on the left front fender. I noticed it the minute I got home. Obviously someone spilled something toxic on it. I contacted my service advisor and texted him a picture. He wasn’t very interested in addressing the problem, so I told him I’d hit with with a brush and soap the next morning and see if it’s just a surface stain. After I scrubbed it, it was gone, only to return the next day. Needless to say, it’s a deep stain. I called and got lip service that it “couldn’t have been their doing.” The service advisor went on to say the Jeep was brought in “Dirty” Untrue. It was brought in after a few days of rain and I wasn’t about to have it washed to be brought in for repairs Finally after telling me he’d be back to me, (Never happened) I contacted him again and we made an appointment to bring the Jeep in. It was taken back to their detail person, brought back out to me with the stain covered in a detail product, but that was “Temporary” The stain would show again when the treatment wore off. I went around with the advisor on the fact that I could do the same thing, but the fault was Shaver’s. Here’s where it get’s really off the wall!!! He told me, “There was no way they could have done that because the battery was on the right side, and the stain is on the left” Of course I told him, “that’s all well and good, but you can’t really believe that with the Jeep in the service bay that NOBODY would have been on the left side of the vehicle?” His answer”? “No, nobody was on the other side of the vehicle"” I preposed to him that possibly the mechanic who worked on the Jeep walked to the left side TO GET A TOOL OR TWO. Or, THAT ANOTHER PERSON WAS IN THE BAY AND PUT SOMETHING DOWN ON THE FENDER THAT LEAKED??? His answer? “No” I asked, “How do you know t his?” His answer? "I just do. There would be no reason for someone to be on the left side of the Jeep.” I told him *I* had an idea who would have been on the left side....WHOEVER DROVE IT IN AND OUT OF THE SERVICE BAY!!!!! NO RESPONSE!!! He then went on to tell me that “Shaver has a no fault policy” Of course I asked what that was, “It means if we damage a car in any way, we fix it” You guessed it. I asked why they won’t fix this stain on my Jeep, or put a new fender on.......Get Ready......”It’s not our fault" How in the WORLD do you make sense with answers like this!!!!!????? YOU DON’T, you tell them, as I did...”You just lost a customer” and drive off. Their service department has truly gone downhill as of late and I won’t be back, especially after spending $800.00 and only asked them to fix something that is clearly their doing I have a picture of the fender with the stain, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to upload it. More
Picked up a used Ford Edge over the weekend. We were helped by a courteous and knowledgeable staff including Wes, Jovon, and Shant. Car had smoke coming out of engine and went to have it fixed under warranty. The dealership told me that it was normal for the car to skoke out the engine? Took my car to a more reputable dealership and was told the car needed some replacement parts and it should not have smoke coming out the engine. This dealership is a scam they sell u a car and extended warranty but do not want to fix ur car when its time to deal with warranty work More
Worst place to buy a car!!! I bought a car here few weeks ago and they still have not honored the contract and fixed the items listed on the due bill. When I called Tyler the sales manager he was very rude a ago and they still have not honored the contract and fixed the items listed on the due bill. Worst service ever. Head service manager was rude and receptionist was even worse. Talked to parts manager about a possible battery issue with my car. Said it would be 4 business days before they even look at it. Do not give them any business for sales or service as they are rude and do NOT care about the customer. More
The Sales Manager Jon Butterworth made my entire car buying process happen in less than a half hour over the phone. This was by far the easiest, no hassle buying process I've ever experienced from anywhere, let alone a car dealership. I've put more time and effort into buying a pair of pants than I did buying my car. I asked Jon for a good deal and he gave me a good deal. No back and forth, no smoke and mirrors, no confusion whatsoever. He kept me updated every step of the way, over-nighted my keys directly to my house and even made sure to call me to follow up after my transport driver dropped the car off to me. A lot of businesses out there could use a Jon Butterworth. Shaver has an asset in this man and Shaver's customers can be confident that they'll get a great deal and great service buying from him. Go buy your next car there, make it easy on yourself. More
They are the epitome of a sleazy used car operation! all the way down to the management! I traded in a vehicle which they owed me money on, they said 7 -10 days for my check 2 months later i had to get an a the way down to the management! I brought my Dodge Ram truck here because the service engine light came on. They replaced some parts charged me over a thousand dollars and did not fix the problem , Oh they said it was fixed but when I engine light came on. They replaced some parts charged me over a thousand dollars and did not fix the problem , Oh they said it was fixed but when I picked it up within 20 miles the engine light was back on with the same code problem.Then they said it was a dirty fuel system and needed a thorough cleaning (even though the truck runs like a dream no hesitation no skipping nothing wrong with the way it was running) which cost me another 350 dollars and within another 75 miles the engine light was back on with the same code problem. Now they say it a fuel injection problem ! Even though the truck runs like a dream! No way I was going to let them screw up the injection system (I’m taking it elsewhere for a second opinion) These morons have no clue what they are doing ! They had my truck for a total of 15 weeks trying to figure it out !! They could not figure out what is causing the engine light to come on. Enough is enough pain and suffering waiting for these guys to guess their way thru the issue. Do yourself a favor and find another place to have your vehicle serviced , These morons may be ok to change your oil but with any real issue they have no clue!! Save yourself the pain and agony of dealing with Shaver service or should I say Shavers non service !! More
