Fairly average dealership, but had a good sales experience. Seems to be some split opinions here, so I'll voice my own experience. After being in an accident that was not in any way my fault (two other cars collided, and one pushed the other into mine from another lane), I had to replace my wonderful Honda Accord. We went to Shannon Motors after hearing they can work with less than stellar credit (ours was around 620 after some history with student loans, buying a new home and other incidentals). We went to the Providence location and was treated well by Daquiri, a sales rep normally stationed in Johnston. They were able to secure a loan for us but wanted to offer us a 2012 Ford Fusion (in my opinion, the worst car on their lot - by their own website, it was the oldest model available). I noticed a 2013 Toyota Prius for the same price, and received no hassle about changing to that car. Great sales experience, the price is right about where KBB shows this model, and the financing terms were acceptable. Our only less desirable experience so far was we have had the car for over 2 weeks and have not yet heard back regarding the new license plates or registration. I literally just today called Daquiri to find out what was going on with this, and was referred to another person who was handling that (this is standard in the auto industry... sales sell the cars, and the back office deals with the minutia). The car is great, the terms were reasonable, and the only negative I can cite is that they didn't call us to let us know about any hold-ups with the registration, or to pick up the plates. I am following up with them this week but I do feel they should be more proactive about this sort of thing. It's just sensible "360-degrees" customer service. More

Horrible customer service I have a car though this place and their lack of communication is terrible. The first time I have a problem and asked for a manager the sent me over t I have a car though this place and their lack of communication is terrible. The first time I have a problem and asked for a manager the sent me over to the customer relation person who said they would call me back. 2 months later she has still not returned my car! I asked them 1 month ago to chance my car from MA to RI. They told me they don't need anything. When I call back they want money to transfer the plates and they would take care of it. I paid them the 15th and they tell me on Tuesday that they now need a copy of my license and new policy. Why was I not told that 2 weeks go when I made the payment. Their service has been horrible and EVERYTIME its costs me MORE money. This is after the 1500 dollars in repairs I have already made to the car! More

No customer service they say they will return your call but they dont. They give you an estimated promissory note and even if you ask and pay for an exact total they will still charge you more at their discretion. Their employees are not held accountable, i was told people make mistakes I would still have to pay a balance even though the error was on their part. Avoid this place!!!!! It gets better. I went and paid the difference to pick my plates and the admin key needed to control the computer in the car. I was told originally i had the admin key but when i tried to reset the settings we found i did not but i was assured by the sales staff they would have it at their main office when i picked up my plates. Shocker they dont have the admin key and according to Todd (who i was told was the mamanger of Shannon motors) sales people can tell me what ever they would like over the phone if although he admitted they believed i had the admin key they arent willing to replace it. They will reset the system for me but if i ever want to do it again ill have to pay ford. Just another thing i was lied to. My bad for trusting what the sales person told me. More
Great experience! I needed a car and was directed to Shannon Motors and to speak with Jarrod. From the minute I talked to him I knew this experience was going to be go I needed a car and was directed to Shannon Motors and to speak with Jarrod. From the minute I talked to him I knew this experience was going to be good. He made everything easy and was so friendly and professional at the same time. Within a two hours or less I was heading out the door with a car. The gentleman I dealt with when I had to sign the rest of my paperwork was friendly and explained each paper as I signed and was always ready with an answer when I had a question. So far two for two so watch out service here I come. Jarrod Toledo is the best. I would and will be recommending family and friends to visit. More
