Disrespectful company and employees I payed my car off and sold the Dame thing June 10 2010 and they are still reporting on my credit today that I have late payments been fighting with t I payed my car off and sold the Dame thing June 10 2010 and they are still reporting on my credit today that I have late payments been fighting with them for the last 2 years trying to get this removed I have the recite for the casters check from Wachovia bank and Shannon motors for this vehicle but still they report 6 years after paying off this Dame thing that I'm not making payments xxx😠.......Don't buy from them they still xxxx you over in the end ...and I have called and have been cursed out buy employees at the Johnston location .... not a good experience I am not pleased with the Woonsocket location.. i have never had as bad an experience buying a vehicle as I have had here. worked a couple of days t I am not pleased with the Woonsocket location.. i have never had as bad an experience buying a vehicle as I have had here. worked a couple of days to get financing. which I was told was all set, theen I am told that the bank dropped you. waited most of a day to find out about another financing. I was almost told I had to sign over my first born to get a loan.. I went on the phone and did the financing myself. Now i am told that I cannot have the vehicle till the money clears the bank. my bank told me they transfered the funds two days ago. Every time i call Jarrod, I am told he is busy and cannot come to the phone. I called three times. Iamaway and I transfered the insurance from my trade in to the Dodge Ram effective today. Once again no vehicle. I now do not have insurance on my trade in and have to keep it parked, I will not be referring anyone to this dealership. I was Finally called by Jarrod he explained that the bank had put the wrong number on the deposit chedk. They would send s check with the right account number. He said my son could pick up the truck as I was on vacation and took the time to deal with this situation. When my son picked up the truck He noticed that the cable that we asked to be fixed was not done. They had over 2c weeks to get this done and were assured that it would be taken care of. And was also told that we have to go Johnston to pick up the plates. All I can say is that the bad situation continues An overall bad experience. just gets worse. If my son hadn't liked this truck so much I would have walked away. I hope that I do not have any other problems . More

Very Frustrating and Upseting I felt I was given the run around and flat out lied to...that occurred when Jarrod told me that my issue would be taken care of regardless of what Kev I felt I was given the run around and flat out lied to...that occurred when Jarrod told me that my issue would be taken care of regardless of what Kevin said about the mileage or the time. This is the second car I bought from Shannon but as of now it will be the last and there won’t be anything positive to say about this experience even though I did come back to buy a second car. The second car experience killed any good feelings. This is a long story which I will try to succinctly summarize. The next day after I bought the Buick and drove it home, the engine light came on and I called Ray Deluca, who sold it to me. He was not at all concerned. However, I was concerned and brought the car back. Service got the light off, but within a few days, it was back on. Already, I was getting very frustrated with this car, but I must say this second time, Kevin in service took my car in and sent it to Hurd Buick. At that point, Shannon/Hurd had the car for something like 7 days. When I got the car back they said they had put another engine it with 62,000 miles on it. Within a couple of days the light was back on! Then the light went off again! A few days later, the light came back on!! I called Kevin and he indicated to give him some notice and to bring the car back. He NEVER gave me a sense of urgency or a time table and in fact said go to AutoZone and see what the problem is. Nothing Kevin said indicated that Shannon would not help me out because of all the inconvenience I had gone thorough to this point. However, because of this tremendous inconvenience and Kevin not having a sense of urgency, I did not rush back. In fact, I talked to some auto people and had it checked out, and they indicated to me that although corrections had to be made to get the light off, there was no need to do it right away. Much to my surprise, when I called service and got Bobby and them Kevin, they both said they would not take care of me and that it was not covered. I was upset and went and saw Jarrod and I explained the situation to him and he agreed that I should not have to pay nor be penalized. Mileage and time had nothing to do with it, he said. Then, I was sent back to see Kevin. He checked it out and said that there was nothing he could do for me. In the meantime, I checked with several automobile people including one at New England Tech's automotive area, and they said there was no way I should have had a misfire on that car. It seems like it all comes down to bad spark plugs, which would have been old spark plugs that came with the engine that they just put in (which is the second engine!) My driving that car did not make the spark plugs bad and the misfiring occur. It really started right from the beginning when I got the second engine and as Jarrod said, there should have been no time limit on that because of all the inconvenience that I had already incurred. Bobby and Kevin should not have been trying to wiggle out of helping me , but rather either replaced the spark plugs or gotten Hurd to do it. I believe that was the right thing to do because the whole thing has been a mountain of aggravation. I am not happy that as soon I drove the car off the lot I would have incurred a bill of several hundred dollars. You guys should stand behind one of the bank cars right on the street, especially when it is the second one purchased. I also want to comment that I liked Ray, but it was lousy that when I told Ray about this stuff he just sent me to service instead of running interference for me after I bought the car from him. After I spent that time with Ray and he made a commission, I had to go to Bobby and Kevin right away. They had no reason to help me, evidently. I am writing because I want this made right out of principal and to save an unjust expense. Then Shannon Motors would be back in my good graces like it was for two years More

I was greeted on the lot by Shawn with a smile and a handshake. After talking for a few minutes and explaining my predicament he helped me come up with a solution, I left shortly after with a new to me 2007 Hyundai SUV that is both comfortable to drive in and suits my needs perfectly. We spent time budgeting and finding out the best options for me and I even received unexpected (but greatly appreciated) financial advice on how to raise my credit and cut down on my monthly bills. Shawn was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, understanding and 100% helpful. The entire experience was great, it felt like I was talking to someone I've known for years and not once did I feel like he was trying to push a sale, only that he legitimately wanted to help me solve my problem. I'd recommend him one hundred times over, if you're looking for an honest and helpful representative I highly suggest you go see him! More
