When I arrived, I had to walk inside to find a salesman. No one came up to me until the sales manager asked if I’d been helped, he found someone for me. I picked out a truck but decided by the next morning I wasn’t too fond of the color. So come Monday morning I called my sales guy to ask him if I could change colors. He was really irritated with me. I asked if he could give me an hour to get online and verify the colors I looked at over the weekend. I was told I had to decide now so I did. Then he text me to tell me my financing was complete and to come in at 4 to sign the paperwork. I asked what the interest rate was and he said he tell me at 4. I pretty much had to say I wasn’t coming out until he told me the interest rate. Finally he says 5.5%, I said I wasn’t happy with that rate and thank you he got really upset and called me. I was at work and had someone in my office. I asked him if I could call him back and he hung up and text me the finance guy would be calling me. Now I’m just done, luckily for John the finance man Chris had a much better disposition and was great to work with because I was not going to purchase anything from Shaheen. With in 5 minutes Chris called back and was able to drop my interest more than 2 points. So I kept the appt at 4 to go sign paperwork, I was not able to get to the back until 5:30. I made the appt so I wouldn’t have to wait that was frustrating. I went to pick up my brand new truck and it hadn’t been cleaned. I know it’s the sellers market right now but on 1/10/22 I took my son to Feldman’s in Lansing to purchase a new truck that I had to co-sign for. I buy GM because of my family that has and is working there but things like this makes me want to look else where. More

I want to commend Asst. Service Manager Brad Millican for his excellent customer service. I have had my Equinox in two different times with a window rattle and a foul smell coming from the vents. We bought a used 2016 Diesel Silverado with 62,000 miles on it at a different Chevrolet dealership. 4 days later the check engine light came on. Took it to Shaheen Chevrolet. We had 2 blown head gaskets, ne on it at a different Chevrolet dealership. 4 days later the check engine light came on. Took it to Shaheen Chevrolet. We had 2 blown head gaskets, needed a new radiator and a new turbo charger. The dealership we bought the truck from said we should have bought the almost $800.00 year warranty. They would not help in any way with our $14,000 repair bill. Dale Wagner, assistant service manager at Shaheen contacted Chevrolet and they agreed to pay $10,000. The Diesel mechanic, Nick worked non stop on our truck. When we picked up our truck it was in perfect working condition. Thank you to Dale and Nick at Shaheen for making this horrible experience more pleasant. If you need any service work done, especially on a diesel go to Shaheen and let Nick do your repairs. Caitlin was proficient and did immediate follow-up when the technician could not diagnose the problem on the initial analysis. Vehicle was returned with brake shoe dust all over the left rear wheel, which the technician could not diagnose the problem on the initial analysis.
