Absolutely horrific experience and at this time I would not entertain buying another Lexus vehicle. Our GX460 had a recall so we contacted Lexus Customer Care who arranged for the vehicle to be picked up f not entertain buying another Lexus vehicle. Our GX460 had a recall so we contacted Lexus Customer Care who arranged for the vehicle to be picked up from our residence in Wichita Falls, TX and transported to Sewell Lexus in Fort Worth, TX. The vehicle was picked up and taken to Sewell on Wednesday February 21, 2024. I received a Bill of Lading from the towing company confirming the vehicle was dropped off. That same day I contacted the service department and spoke to a receptionist who stated our representative was named Dylan. The receptionist said that she spoke with Dylan who stated the vehicle would be ready by the end of the day Friday February 23, 2024. Friday came and went without word so I contacted Dylan on Monday February 26, 2024 and asked about the status of our vehicle. Dylan then informed me that my vehicle was not delivered to Sewell and he had no idea where the vehicle was. I assured Dylan the vehicle was at his dealership, but he said that the towing company must have made a mistake and he implied that they could have stolen my vehicle. Dylan called me back later and stated both he and his service manager walked the entire Sewell Lexus parking lot and they did not see our vehicle anywhere. He again placed blame on the towing company. I contacted the towing company who had pictures of the vehicle in the Parts parking lot. I provided the proof that my car was there to Dylan. Dylan said he was sorry and placed blame on the Parts department manager. Dylan then said that he would have my car worked on immediately and arrange for the vehicle to be towed to my residence as quickly as possible. Sadly, it took 5 more business days for the vehicle to be returned. On March 2, 2024 when the vehicle was finally returned there was a two-inch-long cut in the leather of the driver's seat. I texted Dylan on two separate occasions and he never acknowledged my messages. I am told by the Lexus Customer Care representative that Dylan blamed the towing company. In all, Dylan intentionally provided false information to us about our vehicle on multiple occasions. I cannot imagine rewarding such behavior with future business. To add insult to injury, we went through the claims process as recommended by Lexus and we have been told that since the dealership denied causing the damage, repairing the leather seat is going to come at our expense. Andrew Flynn and Colby Karr were amazing. I was very happy with the transaction of my trade-in as well as the purchase. Our family as gone out of our way to work with the dallas location and was treated poorly and thought we would give this location a chance but instead they judged the customer from a opinion from management location and was treated poorly and thought we would give this location a chance but instead they judged the customer from a opinion from management from the other location as our family went beyond being nice and understanding regardless of the infractions of our first new purchase of a sixty plus thousand suv and because of haven to continue to reach out to corp by email and phone and no response they wanted the problem to go hush hush and if they just would have taken care of the customer in the first place we would have been glad to give them a good rating as they state we don't have customer problems and wrote the book on customer service and we believe Cale Sewell is not aware of this complaint or we wouldn't have written this review your truly lost customer. Tim Bae helped us today and we were beyond impressed. The customer service blew us away and reminded us as to why we need to shop at nicer dealerships. I use to buy higher end SUV’s, but my daughter got into rodeo and we started buying F-450’s and F-350’s. My soccer mom car days were over for a good seven years. I had to get my daughter a second car for college so she can drive to class as her dually won’t fit in normal parking spots at the college. I shopped at some dealerships prior to visiting them. I can not believe the shady behavior of all of these dealerships! I bought her an X5 at a different dealership two days prior to visiting Sewell. The dealership snuck in a $2500 fee for unexplainable reasons (basically a Covid padding) and so many other crazy behaviors took place. I signed the contract and then was told to pick the car up the next day. Long story short, they called me two days later to tell me I needed to come pick my money back up because they were unable to deliver on the car they sold me. It was a car with too many issues (it only had 60k miles on it) and it needed a $5,600 repair which they refused to pay for . I spent the rest of the day shopping at other dealers only to feel completely disgusted by the pushy, rude, and desperate behavior from the salesmen. It was 7:30 pm and I coaxed my family to drop by Sewell as our last stop. It was so refreshing! They are probably the last honest dealership out there! No hidden fees, no pressure and complete transparency. They also have very high standards on the pre-owned cars they carry. I ended up buying an SUV from them. I will continue to buy more vehicles from them in the future too. Their ethics were not compromised by the Covid padding that other dealerships are tacking on. Good job Sewell, you’ve earned my trust!! More

After emailing them, I received a reply within an hour from salesman Aaron Summerhill, who sells both new and used vehicles. He was quick to send me the photos that I requested and we drove to Fort Worth 2 days later and purchased the vehicle. The vehicle was ready to purchase and the process was seamless without the usual hours long event that I have experienced in the past. I can say that Aaron and the staff do represent the "Sewell" experience that I have heard about for several years. You won't go wrong with Sewell of Fort Worth. More
