I have never been so shocked when attempting to purchase a vehicle before. I own a large company in the Midland/Odessa area which is local to this dealership and we have a fleet of around 14 field technici a vehicle before. I own a large company in the Midland/Odessa area which is local to this dealership and we have a fleet of around 14 field technician trucks and I am currently in the market to add three more trucks to that total. I stopped by the dealership to take a look at a Ford Ranger they had for sale on the lot and was approached by very polite salesman who introduced himself and gave me all of the information that I asked for. I informed him that I was needing a price sheet with the year, miles, vin, and total price that I could take to my financial institution, along with the same documents I had already gotten for two other trucks that I am purchasing from another dealership. The salesman very politely asked me to follow him inside so he could get some basic information and he could get me what I was needing. So I followed him into the dealership sat down at his desk and about 5 minutes later was approached by a very rude manager....at least I'm assuming he was a manager. He then told me that they would not be giving me anything. He informs me that they don't give out details about their vehicles not even the year, total price, vin, and miles printed out on a sheet of paper and told me that I would only get the details if I gave him my financial institutions loan officer information and they would send it over there that they would not be giving anything to me. He then said that's not how we do things around here. So just to make sure I had heard him correctly, I asked him so you're telling me that even though I want to buy this truck, you are not going to give me a paper with very BASIC information that I need so that I can have a conversation over terms with my bank before I give you all of their information to start the loan request? Seriously? And his answer was yes we won't be giving you anything. Astounding. I don't know how it's done at Ford dealerships but I can tell you after buying multiple Dodge trucks and Chevrolet trucks that I've never been treated so rudely in all of my life and they just allowed me to get up and walk out without a second thought. That ridiculous excuse of a manager cost that polite young salesman a sale, over what seems to be his over-inflated ego. Because of this incident I will make it a mission to never buy another Ford in my life and I will never step foot inside of a Ford dealership again and I will bad-mouth Ford at every chance I get. Especially so forward located on 191 in Odessa. Totally unacceptable behavior by people that are trying to sell vehicles and have a well intentioned customer in their office that is wanting to purchase one and refuse to give me any information and tell me that they will only deal with the bank and not with me. Sewell Ford in Odessa you just lost a customer and as a member of the community, that has strong statute in the oilfield community I will make sure and share my experience with everyone I know in a position to purchase fleet vehicles for their businesses and do everything I can to keep my colleagues, coworkers, and customers from ever stepping foot into your dealership and offering you their business. More

I've had nothing but negative experiences with everyone from here. The salesman would let me drive the vehicle before pushing me into purchasing. The last time they basically told me luxury vehicles have rattles there's nothing we can do. I would NEVER spend another dollar here and couldn't regret stepping foot in that dealership more. I will discourage everyone I know to not buy anything from here. More

I ordered a truck from Ford through Sewell in August 2021. Was told it would be 10 - 12 weeks and six months later when the truck was delivered to Sewell Ford, they sold it without calling me or checki 2021. Was told it would be 10 - 12 weeks and six months later when the truck was delivered to Sewell Ford, they sold it without calling me or checking with me at all. It is not Sewell's fault that the truck took six months to get here. That is just the nature of today. But, to just sell it without calling or making any contact is ridiculous. After talking to their sales manager (which is very unprofessional), they claimed to have called me but when I told them I received no phone call and pulled my phone records to prove it, they did not care and made no attempt to make the situation right. Definitely will not be back to Sewell Ford. More
