I'm not originally from the area and went to Sewell Ford with a good idea of the car I wanted to purchase along with all the options I wanted equipped on it. He was able to answer all of the questions that I had and was extremely knowledgeable about the SYNC system and setting up my phone with the car once I got it. A totally great experience to work with the guys at Sewell Ford. I talked to Wes Hunt, Jeff Saldivar and Betzabel Garcia and they were all great to talk to and went above and beyond my expectations in Sewell Ford. My son had totalled his truck on sunday 6/19 and he was starting a new job in 7 days on the next monday 6/27 in Dallas, and had to move to Dallas on saturday 6/25 for meetings with his new supervisor. I went on Ford's website, used the build it feature, built the truck we wanted and then used the dealer locator to find that truck. I checked dealorships within 300 miles of Lubbock and found our truck at Sewell. Called and talked to Wes Hunt on tuesday i think, who was filling in for Jeff in new trucks and we made the deal in about 10 minutes over the phone. Jeff took over on wednesday, we got approved by Ford finance, and all of the paperwork was done over the phone and we made arrangements for Sewell to deliver our truck to Lubbock. Betzabel called several times to make sure of the delivery time and came with the driver to go over all of the Ford features and to totally familiarize us with the truck. They trailored our truck to Lubbock(AWESOME)(DID NOT JUST DRIVE IT), and Betzabel had all of the paperwork ready to be signed. Then he spentprobably an hour going over the truck with us. He had great knowledge of all of the Ford features and never even once said he would have to get back to us on any question we had. He knew all of the answers to any question we had. An awesome experience to work with these sales professionals. We are a Ford family, granddad, dad, myself and son have been driving Ford's for 70 plus years that I know of, and this was the best experience in buying a Ford that I have had. Sewell Ford has a great reputation here, but the real reason I even went there to look at crossovers, was that I totally admired the Ford Motor Co. for not accepting any govt. money, as some of the other reason I even went there to look at crossovers, was that I totally admired the Ford Motor Co. for not accepting any govt. money, as some of the other major American companies did. From the get-go, I was impressed with the people. I had researched others on-line and even looked at a couple of other cars. Cody Standifer did an outstanding job explaining and "re-explaining" everything.He didn't deride me for being technolgy challenged (which I am). He wasn't pushy, or demanding that I make a decision quickly, as some have done at other dealerships. Every person I met at Sewell made an effort to help me or do something for me. After 2 days of trying out cars and asking questions, I felt confident in a decision to buy a vehicle. I felt that I was part of a family that really cared for each other. I'd be proud of Cody, if he were my son and am glad I had a chance to meet and deal with him. I now see why Sewell has the reputation it does. Thanks for a really enjoyable experience. More
