We live in Midland, not Odessa but decided to go over there and see what Fords they had on their lot. No one was outside and we found a few cars we wanted to look at so we went inside and Darrell Eastma there and see what Fords they had on their lot. He was very helpful and looked online and told us that they had some other Explorers coming in, in the next week or so and that he would call us. When they came in he did call us and to make a lo ng story short we ended up buying one that had just come off the truck about 20 minutes before we saw it. He was very helpful and so was Andrew Petersen and Arthur Montoya. We have not had the same reception in Midland at Roger's Ford nor the friendliness and I hope if anything goes wrong with the car we will have better luck at getting it worked on and making sure it is done right. I appreciated the manner in which my concerns were handled at every turn and event. The honesty was apparent, the effort to fit my desires was handled with dignity and empathy, and in the final analysis, a price I could live with was reached. Jerry Gattis convinced me that my major concern about previous poor service and attention I had received after buying my last Ford from Sewell would not be a concern. Though I remain somewhat sceptical, I do believe that he believes things are much improved in the Service Department. My respect for Management as they volunteer and donate to Worthy Causes in my community of Odessa also bears upon my personal predisposed desire to buy from Sewell Ford. While that has nothing to do with the rating, it certainly helped in causing me to eventually fill out this questionairre. I want to point out that I am a U.S. Marine (Retired) and that I learned long ago not to loosely compliment poor work or poor personalities. Nothing changes in performance if I do that. Terez was excellent. However upon delivery found out one key needed programmed and washer fluid would not work. Was told they would have key programmed but Cain would not fix the washer.
