Helpful staff. The staff that I dealt with were polite and did their best to help solve my problems. They fixed all of my recalls except one. The one I went there to The staff that I dealt with were polite and did their best to help solve my problems. They fixed all of my recalls except one. The one I went there to have fixed. My headlight has been out for over a year and a half. I have replaced the lamp more than once but it never stays on for more than a week. Once, at an oil change, the mechanic figured out the problem was a part and that part is only available through the dealership. I took the car in to get an estimate and found out there was a recall on it. When I took it for repairs a few days later, they told me they couldn't do it because it was an after market assembly. They gave me an estimate of $458 to fix it. I did have a small accident earlier this year, but it was not replaced. Besides, it was already broken at the time of the accident. It is a 2012 Passat and I bought it in 2013. Obviously, I bought it that way. Whether its new or after market, the problem is the same and I feel that VW should honor the recall. More
