I live in Georgia and bought a used car from Serra Toyota. While signing the final paperwork, Serra Toyota charged me Alabama sales tax (they overcharged me at 4.7% sales tax, should have been 4%). Toyota. While signing the final paperwork, Serra Toyota charged me Alabama sales tax (they overcharged me at 4.7% sales tax, should have been 4%). When I went to register and title the car in Georgia I had to pay Georgia sales tax (which is 7%). Georgia has a reciprocal tax agreement with the state of Alabama in which Alabama keeps 2% of the tax. I paid a total of 11.7% sales tax. I went back to Serra Toyota to recover the Alabama sales tax that I was overcharged and have had nothing but frustration since. I have been trying to recover my money for almost one month so far. I talked to my salesman, finance manager, and general manager and no one returns calls and I constantly get "were working on it" excuse. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY FORGET ANY FURTHER HELP. OUT OF STATE BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! More

They said one thing on the phone when we got there they said they couldn't do it. I tried for over a week to help my 20 year old emploied daughter buy a new Scion tc. First we tried without a trade and some cash down then we needed a trade to make the deal work then we needed more money down. They wouldget us back to the dealership with the thought of making the deal then ask for more. More
