The short of it, I thought it would be wise to take it to the Nissan dealership because their service techs might know of another problem that might cause this since it is a Nissan product. Well, when I got to the shop, I made the mistake of telling them to call me before working on anything and that I only had like $300 in my bank account to work with. (My mistake: the part is $90 so I was assuming the most of $200 if they just replaced the sensor or maybe more if it was something more extensive). Well, lo and behold, it was just the sensor again and they called me to let me know that it would be...$300 almost exactly. That's interesting? I thought maybe since it was a dealership, it might be more expensive. No, it cost $210 to plug in a sensor?? $210. Oh, btw, it costs $55 for labor at S&S Tires to replace and it took them like 5 minutes. Remember, I only brought it to Nissan because I thought it might be something else...not to get a quadruple service charge for the same, exact repair. Anyways, I went ahead and paid for it because with this sensor malfunctioning, I was legitimately having my vehicle turn off while going through an intersection or down the highway. So, there goes all the money in my bank account for this week. I already had to shell out $800 for taxes, $400 for two sick dogs, and a bunch of other random crap that drained my savings to 0. So, thanks Nissan in Sylacauga for gouging me for a simple repair and just adding to my already extensive financial woes. Maybe try just ripping off the rich people who can afford it and not people who work their a** off all week just to get slapped in the face. Better yet, just do good business. Rant over. I guess the goal of Nissan in Sylacauga is to take advantage of people and, especially, since this malfunctioning part gave such a high possibility of potentially causing a wreck, they knew I would pay the maximum that I needed to get it fixed and be safe on the road. I'm sure there is a word for that. Just imagine buying a car from them? 0 stars. Rant over for real this time. More
Not a happy customer I went into the dealership on February 16th and I paid for a front end alignment and back brakes on my Nissan Altima 2015. I paid over 400.00 for ever I went into the dealership on February 16th and I paid for a front end alignment and back brakes on my Nissan Altima 2015. I paid over 400.00 for everything. My car was riding like I havent had a front end alignment, so I took my car back on Feburary 27 and the rep that helped me told the guy in the service department that I think I need an alignment or a balance rotation thats not what I said. I told her when I came in what I needed and she claimed she remembered me. And so when she brought me my receipt she said he said that you need some front brakes and a front end alignment I said how do I need that and I just got that done not even 2 weeks ago. She said your total is 49.85 for balance and rotation, I said that is not what I asked for. I wanted the tech to drive my car so he could feel the vibration on my steering wheel. I told her I have the receipt in my car to show what I paid for. She said oh I believe you, and then she looked up my receipt on the computer. And she said oh I see what you paid for and you did pay for an alignment and back brakes. And she said I am not going to charge for the balance and rotation. I am not a happy customer! Why? Because I paid over 400.00 to have my car serviced and it wasn't completed correctly! Even when I took my car back it wasnt completed! I will not be going back to Nissan in Sylacauga for my car needs!!!! So disappointed!!!!! More
mpeccable Service and Great Price I had a very pleasant experience purchasing my brand new, 2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo Tech from Serra Nissan of Sylacauga yesterday. My sales team was Amy I had a very pleasant experience purchasing my brand new, 2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo Tech from Serra Nissan of Sylacauga yesterday. My sales team was Amy Maddox, Internet Sales Manager, Marcus Smith, Sales Associate and Jeff Tatum, Sales Manager. All three were wonderful and bent over backward to make this deal possible. I also met with other sales associates who were not involved but were genuinely nice and helpful. 99% of my communications, (e.g., voice, email and text) were with Amy. She was so awesome, prompted and honest!!! She made this deal possible along with Marcus' assistance and Jeff's approval. I drove all the way from Atlanta to find this little gem which was nestled between four huge car markets, Atlanta, Birmingham, Auburn and Montgomery. This dealership is definitely a diamond in the rough. If you're looking to purchase your next new Nissan or pre-owned vehicle, please give Amy, Marcus or other associates at Serra Nissan of Sylacauga a call. You won't be disappointed. They are worth the drive anywhere in the Southeast and beyond. More
