Doug Richardson failed to honor his word in taking my trade-in, then instead if financing me w/ my co-signer, he financed completely in my co-signers name.... Without telling me. I went to Serra on a Tuesday looking to trade in my 2010 Altima that I had previously bought there, for a Pathfinder. My family and I have bought 5 cars from Serra in the past three years, so of course I wa Altima that I had previously bought there, for a Pathfinder. My family and I have bought 5 cars from Serra in the past three years, so of course I was going back, but never again. My Altima was damaged in the tornado so I had a rental car. Walking into Serra I noticed they got rid of their playroom which was a great asset for the kids. Larry (my salesman) said my 4 yr old could watch cartoons. The cartoon that was playing was 'Family Guy' something I don't consider a 'cartoon' for a 4 yr old. So my kids sat in our rental car for a couple of hours. Larry never once offered drinks, or to tell us anything really. I don't think he cared if he sold a car or not. I drove a 2008 and didn't like the price. Larry then told me since I am a member of USAA (military bank) I get a discount. Larry told me we have to sell the car to you at that price! The price which I should pay for the 2011 Pathfinder S model was $24,231 and for the SV $27,030 I then told Larry I would want the SV model. He told me to take the rental car back and I could drive home an S model. Larry said he would call me the next day (Wednesday) and tell me what they would give me for my car. Larry also said they needed and appraiser to go look at my car and they were gone for the day. I wanted $18,000 for my car and my payments around $450. Wednesday comes and goes and I hear nothing. On Thursday I call to speak with the manager and I talked to Brian. He said he would have Larry call me and if I didn't hear from Larry that he himself would call me back. Never heard from Larry but Brian called back. Brian said that he got on to Larry and he is working the numbers now and that Larry will call me. Again Larry did not call me back but Brian did. For the third time Brian said Larry would call me but he never did. I ended up calling Jim Burke. They promised me that they would blow Serra out of the water. I told them about my car, the damages, the body shop it was at, and how much I wanted for it. Jim Burke said they would look at the car and call me tomorrow (Friday) with some numbers. On Friday, I didn't hear from Serra at all, so I called them. I spoke with Gerald the lot manager. He didn't seem to concerned about it at all. I told him I thought ya'll sold cars but taking 3 days and still no call was odd. He just blew me off. Then Jim Burke called. They were so nice and upbeat. I was ready to do business with them but still waiting on Serra. Later Brian called. He said that they couldn't sell the car to me at the USAA price like Larry had promised me. He said he could sell the 2011 Pathfinder S to me @ $30,000! Wow that's like $6,000 more that USAA. I told Brian that I didn't even want the S model and that I had told Larry that before so why were they running those numbers? While on the phone with Brian, Jim Burke beeped in, I told Brian I'd call him back. So Jim Burke says 'we'll give you $18,000 for your car and for the pathfinder SV model your payments will be what you wanted' I was estatic! I thought wow this is too good to be true. So Saturday I went to Jim Burke. When I walked in, Gary Matthews was soooooo nice! (The same guy I had been talking to) He asked if we needed anything to drink, told us where the snack machines and bathrooms were. He talked to my kids too! Wendi informed me that they sent a guy to Montgomery to get the car I wanted. So I did my paperwork, got everything I wanted. Wendi was very friendly. She was like a real person not someone who just wanted to sell cars. I received free oil changes for life. I also received other perks as well that thrilled me!!! I love Jim Burke so much I wrote a poem for them! So from Thursday night till Friday afternoon Jim Burke got me everything I wanted. It did not take 3 days to even call me! Oh yeah I told you earlier I told Brian I would call him back, I did. I told him he could come pick up his car at Jim Burke. He seemed mad but hey, I'm gonna do what's best for me! So my family and I along with our 4 Serra Nissans and 1 Jim Burke Nissan will be going to Jim Burke for now on. More
If you need to buy a new Nissan please go to centerpoint and get with Andy. He was amazingly friendly. I usually hate car saleman and leave when approached because I feel like I am either getting snubbed and get with Andy. He was amazingly friendly. We got the car we wanted, rate we wanted, and felt like we were treated very professionaly and with respect. GO ANDY, I will buy all my cars from you. See you in a couple years. I want to send a HUGE compliment to Serra Nissan. I contacted Andrew Taylor a few weeks ago in search of a car. I have credit issues and had little money down. Andy didn't immediately write me off, nor did he immediately tell me I was qualified. Instead of feeling for the sale, he asked great questions about how I'd be using the car, who'd ride in it etc as well as any "must haves" I preferred. After one call I met Andy at the dealership and he showed me several vehicles in my range of price and needs. He also introduced me to the Serra Volkswagon manager, Doran, who couldn't have been more reasonable and helpful with my financing. Sitting with them and talking about the details of the car and financing felt more like chatting with close friends about buying a car instead of a salesman and manager! I ended up in a beautiful 2011 Jetta and couldn't be happier! The entire process was very well organized and put together. I've waited for HOURS and in some cases a week to close a purchase of a new car and this took only about an hour and a half total, which was amazing! I appreciate that most all of the legwork was done before I walked through the door. They showed they truly valued my time and that means a lot! Walking in, I had no inclination to choose a VW, but after seeing all the options in my price range and having them show me all the great features in it-I was sold. I LOVE my new car. It fits mine and my families needs so well. I was hesitant to go to Serra since I'd had a very bad experience with Serra Chevrolet in 1999 in a lease there. I had all but written Serra off, however a friend highly reccomended Andy since he was so personable and realistic with them in buying their car, so I gave it a shot. I'm SO glad I did! It was the only time I've really ENJOYED and been able to feel true excitement instead of anxiety and dread about buying a car (out of MANY I've purchased). It means so much to the consumer when the salesperson is not only incredibly friendly but also genuinely interested in the customers NEEDS before the sale they might get. I am 100% certain that if Andrew and Doran felt like they couldn't meet my needs for the payment I had to have and the car I had to have that rather than put me in anything at any cost, they'd have not sold me a car at all. People buying from Andrew Taylor will love him and won't have a moments buyer remorse! He's an asset to the Serra brand and I appreciate him greatly! Also worth noting and giving some praise to is the follow up of these folks! I have gotten calls and emails since my purchase from Andrew, Doran and also from Debra Zeanah to make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Not form emails either, but legit, conversational emails asking specifically if there was ANYTHING they could do for me. That also helps because those first couple of weeks are the ones where you truly decide if you've made the right decision or not. I know now that I truly did with this purchase. I am proud of my car and highly reccomend Andrew, Doran and Debra to anyone looking to get a car in the future! More

The customer service team did everything they could to make sure we are completely satisfied. I love that we are treated as people and not sales goals. Deborah and Stephanie in customer service were fabulous. I really appreciate the time they took to make sure we were completely satisfied. They also are quick!! It was not an all day long drawn out process, once we had picked a car, we settled on a price and were out the door in a little under 2 hours. I will definitely recommend Serra Nissan!!!! More

From the very moment my wife and I met him on the lot, he worked with us to help get us out of the present situation with Wells Fargo and to help me get out of the high mileage car. I was reluctant to even go to another dealer because I had been laughed off all others previously because of the negative equity in my old vehicle. But not at Serra Nissan - I was able to leave in a new car, with lower payments, and a phenomenal APR!! Thanks to Arvin and Abdul!!! More
