Our tech simply wanted to offer a professional opinion given the amount of work that needed to be repaired on the vehicle. While we would have preferred to do the repairs, it would have been a big ticket item. Since many of our clients do not like spending that kind of money on older vehicles, he just wanted to make the suggestion.
