Dishonest Scammers My son visited this dealership and attempted to negotiate a final deal which was initially unsuccessful. After an hour or so of going back and forth My son visited this dealership and attempted to negotiate a final deal which was initially unsuccessful. After an hour or so of going back and forth with the salesman and supposedly the manager who was never seen, my son then, told Bill (salesman) that if they changed their minds and could accommodate his final out the door price, to give him a call and left the dealership. Shortly after arriving home, my son received a phone call from Bill stating that they would honor the price my son wanted. My son then called me to meet him at the dealership to finance the vehicle. Upon arriving at the dealership, I found Bill and told him that I was there to purchase the vehicle that my son previously negotiated. Shortly thereafter, Tom Ross joined in stating that he was there to assist Bill, a new salesman. During the paperwork process, Tom goes away and then comes back a few minutes later. To my surprise, he asks me what would it take to earn my business? Confused, I asked Tom what he was talking about as the final price of the vehicle was already negotiated. I told him the price we agreed upon was the price I was paying for the vehicle. Tom then stated that there was a mistake in the communication process and tells me that the price of the vehicle was what was on the sticker. I told Tom that the price on their website was $2700 lower than that listed on the window sticker. The price decrease was due to the fact that this vehicle was a 2013 model and had been sitting on the lot for over a year. They lowered the price in an attempt to sell the vehicle. Tom then blatantly lies to me stating that this was employee pricing only. Clearly, the website pricing states that this was the final price with no fine print and definitely not employee pricing. After arguing about the price, Tom further adds more tricks to the deal stating that we didn't qualify for the $2000 cash back or 0% financing, which increased the price further from the previously negotiated price. Tom also stated we didn't qualify for the military discount which he offered to give to us in the first place. I'm not the one who even asked for the discount in the first place. Tom brought up the different types of potential discounts during the paperwork process. When confronted about his blatant lies, he would constantly change subjects or start blaming Bill, the new salesman stating he didn't explain something right. The entire time, Bill did not say a word even when questioned and just stared at the floor. Tom had this smug smile on his face which further angered us. The longer we talked to Tom, the more he would lie, trying to cover his previous lies. We finally walked out seeing that there could be no progress to be made. I was going to talk to a manager, but seeing Tom in action prompted me to question the ethics of the entire staff and didn't even bother wasting my time. It is people like Tom that gives car salesman the bad reputation they have. I have been purchasing vehicles for over 25 years and have never encountered such a dishonest and blatant liar such as Tom. I will never go to this dealership and sadly, they have lost a potential customer. I will also warn any other people that I know to stay away from this dealership. More
Dishonest all around Salesman promised to have a factory rack installed on my Dodge Journey R/T after purchase. Brought it in the first time - I get a call a few hours lat Salesman promised to have a factory rack installed on my Dodge Journey R/T after purchase. Brought it in the first time - I get a call a few hours later informing me that the wrong parts were ordered. Two weeks later, I call for an update on parts and I'm told to bring it in. 4 hours later I get a call saying its ready - but that they put a better rack on. When I arrive I see my car parked out front with a Thule removable rack on it! Are you kidding me?! I know that Thule racks are great (so no disrespect to that company), but that's NOT what I requested. I had them remove it and requested the roof rack. A week goes by with no response. Husband calls salesman only to engage in a verbal disagreement. (What business doesn't abide by the "customer is always right" motto? Apparently this one. Sales manager and service manager both call in response to my husband's request. They both promise to take care of the situation. That was 2 weeks ago ... Still no word and no return call despite 6 messages left for them. This is the WORST customer service experience ever! We definitely will not be using them again, nor will we recommend them, and we are filing a complaint with the SOS and Chrysler. More
Don't visit unless you're prepared to WAIT Our minivan had an issue with the ABS system-- the ABS engaged randomly on dry pavement, and sometimes made it difficult to stop, since the pedal need Our minivan had an issue with the ABS system-- the ABS engaged randomly on dry pavement, and sometimes made it difficult to stop, since the pedal needed to be pushed on very hard at times. This was a SAFETY ISSUE, and needed to be addressed quickly. Getting an appointment took 4 days, dropped off the van at the appointment time of 9:00am, and got a ride back home (thanks for the hospitality, there), after having explained to the service tech that the work needed to be done by 2:30pm, so the van could be used to pick up our kids from school -- no concerns with the timing were voiced at this time by the dealer staff. Nobody called by 1:00pm, so we called them -- and were told, "We haven't looked at your car, yet, we've been concentrating on Waiters this morning." They explained their system: you may drop off your vehicle from 6:00am, they'll provide you with a ride to your office, or back home; repair staff arrives at 8:00am to start working on the cars, and they start working on vehicles based off of their position in the large queue they have in front of them, and putting a priority on people who "WAIT" at the dealership. Excuse me, but people who go back home are "waiting," too -- just not at the dealership. SO -- if you want to get the "best" service, you need to be there at 6:00am, and wait there for several hours, just to get them to look at your car? Not acceptable. The service tech told us that our 9:00am appointment was to get into the QUEUE, and NOT an appointment to have our vehicle serviced. If I hear all of this correctly, my arrival time (which I made 4 days in advance, no less) makes no difference as to when my vehicle will be serviced, and we can't trust them to do anything in an expeditious manner. We picked up the van, and took it home without being repaired. Net result: we still have a safety problem with our van, planning to take it to an independent mechanic, and have NO interest in returning to Milosch. More
My 2013 Dodge Journey was dropped off at 10:33 for the first oil change and inspection. A phone number was left to be called when the car was ready. According to the final invoice, it was done at 11.0 first oil change and inspection. A phone number was left to be called when the car was ready. According to the final invoice, it was done at 11.01. There was no phone call, even though the service advisor wrote it down. The phone number and Email on the invoice are both wrong, in fact I never had that Email address at all. I was told originally that it would take about 40 minutes. After waiting for a phone call for 1 hour and 15 minutes, I got a ride back to the dealership at 12:15 and stood around in the service area, but no one was available to help. While waiting inside, our salesman approached us and said he would ask the service department what the status was on our car. He didn't come back. At 1:15, I returned to the service area and found my vehicle check up paperwork sitting on the desk and saw my vehicle parked outside with the window wide open and the doors unlocked. Usually the car goes through a car wash, but that didn't happen either. I took the paper to the cashier, got my keys and left at 1:25. My time was wasted waiting for almost 2 1/2 hours beyond the time that the car was ready. No one apologized. Needless to say, I am done with this dealership. More
