While on a 10,000 mile motorhome vacation throughout Canada and the US, our towed vehicle - being driven on its own - was struck from behind by a large SUV while stopped at a yield sign in North Carolin Canada and the US, our towed vehicle - being driven on its own - was struck from behind by a large SUV while stopped at a yield sign in North Carolina. The rear end was badly damaged and, while the car was drivable (parts held together by Gorilla duct tape!), we were thousands of miles from home and only half-way through the trip. We were scheduled to stay in the Nashville, Tennessee area and the other driver's insurance, Nationwide, advised we could have an appraisal done at Tom Bannen Chevrolet as that facility is recommended by Nationwide and was near our campground. KEITH BOBINGER was the Tom Bannen employee assigned to the job. We cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Bobinger's superb service. Time was a major issue as we needed to be in Phoenix, Arizona on a particular day and Keith respected that need and enabled us to meet it, phoning us on a daily basis to advise of progress. Keith insured that the repair, though extensive, was done not only speedily but with great care and attention to detail, and the finished work more than satisfied us. Mr. Bobinger is a perfectionist in the best sence of the term: he made certain the repair was done to his own exacting standards, and it was. While certainly not a cynic, I am always surprised when something is done as advertised and wanted, and KEITH BOBINGER more than met our hopes and needs. He is a credit to Tom Bannen Body Shop and needs to be singled out for his superb and professional performance. Please advise us that you have appropriately acknowledged this fine employee. My visit to Tom Bannen Chevrolet GMC Buick was as pleasant of a retail experience I have had. I arrived and Mr. Bannen introduced me to Beau Leslie. Beau spent most of the afternoon with me driving and comparing different trucks. He was very thorough in explaining all of the features of each vehicle. I picked out a truck and drove it for a couple of days to make sure it was the one. I called Beau and told him I wanted it. I came back to the dealership and then worked with Bobby Harrison on adding a couple of accessories. Once that was finished, I met with Mike Cancel to work out the financing. The entire staff there was so friendly and helpful during the purchase process. I felt confortable the entire time that I was making the right choice. I would highly recommend this dealer to everyone and will always bring my business back to Tom Bannen Chevrolet GMC Buick. More
I came in because I had a low coolant level on my 2007 Corvette. I actually live in Atlanta, GA but was here in Nashville for Thanksgiving. I authorized a diagnostic on my car, which revealed that one of my hoses was leaking. It was a huge inconvenience because the part had to be special ordered. I need a hose with a special bend in it. I told Greg my situation as far as needing to get back for work, etc, etc. He could have easily just told me that I'd have to wait until Tuesday and that there was nothing he could do, but instead he got with some of the mechanics and created an alternative to me purchasing that particular $100 hose (not including later). He had them take another hose and created the bend themselves!! My cost after the diagnostic...$4.83. I was amazed by his honesty and friendliness. He did everything he could to make sure that I didn't have to spend more money or be inconvenienced. BY FAR, THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AT A SERVICE CENTER....especially while owning my Corvette (6 years). I used to people trying to suck all of the money they can out of me because I have a high end vehicle. This has me considering driving all the way back to Nashville to have my car serviced. lol More
We were looking for a Chevy Impala, with low milage and gray color. Also with a good price, Paul Redmon,helped us and called us several times to tell us about the cars he had. I recently purchased a 2012 Chevy Tahoe and my experience was extremely positive. In today's world, I think it is too easy for a company just to expect their product to sell itself and the sales staff does n was extremely positive. Tom Bannen Chevrolet does not operate this way. Chris took the time to listen to our wants and needs and selected the perfect vehicle for us. After the sale, we had some issues with the OnStar system. The staff at Tom Bannen worked feverishly to get those issues resolved in a timely manner. I will not hesitate to recommend this dealer and salesman. More
WOW!!! Sandie and Chad are by far two of the BEST salesmen I have ever dealt with! They made us feel like we were family just coming in to hang out. We went in for one type of vehicle but it ended up salesmen I have ever dealt with! They made us feel like we were family just coming in to hang out. We went in for one type of vehicle but it ended up not working out for us so we kept shopping around. We were not as pleased with the treatment we recieved from other dealerships so we decided to go back to see these guys. And once again they made us feel comfortable. We ended up with a 2012 Cruze which we love! We are now working a new car option for myself because I knew this was the place to buy a car from and there was no point in continuing my car search at any other place! If you want to be treated like a person and not another part of someones paycheck.... GO SEE THESE GUYS! I will be recommending them and Tom Bannen to everyone! More
