Took our 2016 equinox in leaking water. Picked it up paid the bill and it still leaked. Took it back they said it was repaired and it was raining and still dripping inside. Called Safelite and they repaired it with one visit. We were told all the dealership did was smear some calk on it. They Charged A Little OVER $900.00 AND DID NOTHING TO STOP THE LEAKING WINDSHIELD More
Honesty & Pride in your work are truly Lacking at this establishment! Our daughter lives 1000 miles away from us so she is at the mercy of others if she has an issue with her car. We recommended she take her car to a dealership when she noticed water leaking above the driver's seat. Serra employees claim they re-sealed the windshield and she was charged $945.00. After the next rain, it was leaking again, they claimed to have sealed it a second time, but it was dripping when she picked it up. They claim it is because it is an 'after market' windshield. If 'after market' deems that a dealership cannot adequately make a repair they should be honest about it from the beginning. More
Do NOT use Serra Chevrolet service department for ANY work. Horrible, horrible experience. Bought a used 2020 Chevrolet (not from Serra) March of 2021. Still under factory warranty. A couple of months after I bought it, stereo started going blank, black screen, volume controls wouldn't work. It was a sporadic issue that was impossible to pinpoint when it would happen. In December of 2021, I had an aftermarket amp put in it. Installed by a professional car audio facility in town. In January of 2022, the stereo acted up once again as I was close to the dealership, I stopped in immediately as they told me "yes, these stereos have been known to have an issue". They ordered me a new stereo, scheduled an appointment to install. Once they found out it had an aftermarket amp (installed 7 months after it started acting up), they would not honor the warranty, and would not put in the new stereo. They tried to tell me there was a "charred", "burnt" smell behind the panel of where the amplifier wires were ran... Needless to say, I was very upset. I pulled the panel off myself, no charred smell, no burnt anything. They are trying to blame the amp... It was shorting out a month after buying the truck in March of 2021 (with no amp!). I called not long after it started happening, they said they would "have to see it happen". The technician lied about the "charred", "burnt" smell. It boils down to they just didn't want to fix it and used that as an excuse not too. I will be filling a compliant with the Tn. Department of Consumer affairs, the BBB and will try to contact our local investigative news team. At this point, I wouldn't let them put gas in my vehicle... 3 cars bought from this dealership in the past. Never again. Stay away from Serra Chevrolet Service Department. More
This place is run by clowns. Took my vehicle to trade in, vehicle was under three years old, has everything you could want on a car and they tried to give me eight thousand under KBB trade in value. Used cars and trucks cost more than new and these clowns are still trying to steal peoples cars. So needless to say Alvin lost a sale and I bought a beautiful 6.2 Silverado Trail Boss at Freeland Chevrolet… Thanks for being clowns my new truck is so much nicer than anything on your lot. More
This week my boyfriends truck broke down while on vacation and we unfortunately had to buy a vehicle on a short amount of time given to us. Thankfully God sent us to the right dealership. From the time I called and spoke with Kim, hearing our options about fixing the truck or trading it in, then meeting Mark & having a smooth, easy process on buying our brand-new 2021 GMC Canyon Elevation. Mark was patient, understanding, straight forward & listen to our needs & wants. We will miss the old truck but we're already involve with our new one! Thank you for great customer service (offering beverages, showing us around the car lot and doing everything in your power to take care of us.) More

Do NOT pay for the unlimited oil change package when buying a car. Been trying for 3 days to get my car in for an oil change and was told “bring it in to drop off” and then turned away because of unders buying a car. I’ve paid 100’s out of pocket to get it changed elsewhere when I’ve ALREADY PAID THEM. Automatic back of the line and priority if you don’t owe them money day of. Extremely poor service. More
Always a long wait. At least 2 hours for oil.chsnge. that's if you get in. But take it anywhere else and it voids warranty. Half xxxxx service and overpriced too. Made an appointment to have oil changed in my GMC truck. I was 5 minutes early and waited over two hours then had to demand my truck be returned. They brought it up and I paid 88.00. I don't believe they even changed the oil. If they had changed the oil they would have noticed that the warning light did not go away. More
