The customer service provided by Shanley in the parts department was outstanding. I had been looking across the country for a discontinued accessory for my Ridgeline. I would recommend Serra Acura to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. I worked with Ric Witherspoon to purchase a used 2019 Acura MDX from out of state and he made the purchasing process very straig purchase a vehicle. All the staff were very friendly and I never once felt pressured into doing something I didn't feel comfortable with. They even held the car for me until I could fly in to pick it up. Being out of state, Ric even sent me a personal video tour of the car showing the condition it was in, which was a very nice personal touch. More

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I am in the market for a new car and I have been searching since Memorial Day for a good deal. Long story short, after shopping around and exchanging I am in the market for a new car and I have been searching since Memorial Day for a good deal. Long story short, after shopping around and exchanging phone calls and emails with different dealers, I visited Subaru Serra in Akron, OH. I was looking for a Legacy 2020, and started to work with Julie Remesik. At the moment they did not have any in stock, we settle on a price range, and I even left a $500 deposit that they asked for. Julie told me she was going to request the car with my specifications from another dealer and they were going to bring it sometime this week. Once the car arrived, I confirmed Julie that I was coming on Friday before 430 pm as she requested. She stressed that I had to arrive before 430 pm to have enough time to close the deal. In order for me to be there on time I had to leave work early and drive 3 hours to get there on time. Today (June 5th, 2020), I arrived before 430 pm, and the first thing that Julie told me, was that “I will have to send you back home, since you did not fill out the credit application”, which infuriated me since I had not even seen the car in person or test drive it, and she even said that “if we could not make a deal, we could not make a deal”. With that attitude I immediately requested my deposit back. She brought the sales manager, and after a quick chat I walked out of the dealership with a deposit receipt and no car. What annoyed me the most was that even though half of the negotiation was done and I was ready to purchase a new car, Julie was rude and unpolite. Since the beginning I told her I was not going to fill out an application without seeing and driving the car first (who buys a car without seeing it and test it first), but she kept pushing. With her comment about sending me back home, she disregarded the effort I made of leaving work early and driving 3 hours to arrive on time. They mentioned they had other customers, but I made an appointment with Julie to do all the paperwork, and I only saw a couple of customers and a lot of sale representatives available. During these difficult times, from a consumer’s perspective, it’s a big commitment to buy a new car. I guess Serra Subaru in Akron must be doing really good to let go an almost already done deal. After investing a week working with Serra Subaru in Akron and with Julie, it is frustrating to be treated with such disrespected for my time and effort. I really hope this was just a terrible mistake from the Serra Subaru at Akron personnel and not a prejudice due to the fact that I am Hispanic. More

Eric Johnson sold me a 2014 Honda Accord. He was great and answered all my questions and helped the process go smoothly as possible even though he had to stay late. He's very knowledgeable about the product and is always willing to help with educating myself or my wife on the tech package, Acuralink or any other feature we may not understand. I would recommend anyone wanting to purchase a car whether new or used ASK for Matt and you'll have the best of the best to work with and once again he doesn't just sell you a car and stop there. He's always willing to treat you great after the sale too! More

We took the car for a test drive and the transmission was lurching and searching for a gear. Decided to pass. Sales woman Amy brought up a 12 Focus for us to drive...it was so disgusting inside there was no way we were going to drive it. I did re-visit the 14 Focus because it had a recall on the PCM for the Transmission and I thought maybe that would do the trick to correct the issue. I texted Amy that i would like to come back out with a code reader since she said they had no techs to test it. Didn't get a response for quite a while. She mentioned the techs could do it Monday. I texted a few times and not one response at all from her. This is the same place that blew up my phone/email and texts trying to get my business but now all of a sudden there is zero communication. Probably for the best seeing as how disgusting they keep their "as-is" vehicles. I fail to understand why a simple detail could not be performed instead of subjecting customers to a filthy nasty interior. The funniest line she mentioned was about the 12 Focus...claimed the customer babied it. No way in gods green earth that they babied it. Horrible looking inside and out. The tells me no way did they keep up with the maintenance of it. I can't really blame Amy other than lack of communication as management would be the one to set the atmosphere and protocol of how used vehicles are handled. Was my first time there and certainly my last time. "People Pleasin?" c'mon man...not anywhere close. More
