Not a pleasent experience. If you want answers to the status of your car, you must go there in person. Calling is a waste of time. Communication is almost nonexistent. The fact that I made a wasted trip on a Sunday night to drop off go there in person. Calling is a waste of time. Communication is almost nonexistent. The fact that I made a wasted trip on a Sunday night to drop off my car for detailing on a Monday (as I was told I could do) only to find that all the entrances were gated and locked should've been my first red flag to just cancel right then. To make a very long and frustrating story short, they had my car the entire work week for an interior detailing and to fix window/door switches on my driver side. If I had not showed up there on Saturday, they probably would still have my car even today without anyone giving me the courtesy of a phone call to let me know it was ready. Some training is greatly needed concerning customer service communication. I understand that there are staff shortages everywhere and so on, but at least just COMMUNICATE the situation to the customer! I shouldn’t have to pull teeth to get a status. For the longer version of the story - they had my car from 7:30 a.m. Monday 9/13/2021 until Saturday afternoon 9/18/2021 to do interior detailing and to fix switches in my driver side doors because back window wasn't working using the switches on either front or back doors. During that time, played phone tag with Todd. To make matters worse, supposedly a porter lost my key and they had to cut me a new one. That was just great considering I had a small but sentimental keychain on it that was a gift from a friend. I will say that the actual detailing was good and overall, I am satisfied with the interior as they got almost 5 years of dog hair out of my car, though they did miss a couple of very small, hard to get to spots. But as for the window/door switches, I'm now wondering if they even put the part in as my back driver window still doesn't work correctly (which is my reason for rating the quality of work as "poor"). On Thursday when my husband took me up there, Todd did put me in a rental car. I used that vehicle all Thursday and Friday and then on Saturday when I still had heard nothing further, I went up there and ended up checking out with Phil and Sherry who were both helpful and apologetic about the lack of communication. Even so, I will never go there again. I would rather drive over an hour down to Serpentini ORRVILLE as I always had stellar service from them, plus they always gave me a discount as a Smucker employee. More
