The First Ever Car Buying Experience Ray Hawks and Floyd Stanard are two of the best People that I've ever had the experience of purchasing a vehicle with and the experience going excelle Ray Hawks and Floyd Stanard are two of the best People that I've ever had the experience of purchasing a vehicle with and the experience going excellent. I can't say enough about the courtesy and patience that they had with my wife and I. We brought our 3 kids with us and the team was able to accommodate our kids to help us with the process of taking a test drive and keeping the kids occupied. On top of that, our experience was well worth the time spent purchasing the car. We went to 5 total dealerships in the immediate area "50 Mile Radius" and Floyd and Ray were the only ones that knew the history of the vehicle, and were courteous enough to answer every question that we had. The other dealerships either didn't have what we were looking for, or they didn't know what they were talking about. First Pleasant Car Buying Experience AJ Brown was a kind & fun Sales person. I noticed, he smiled several times during this experience. Not your typically car "dealer" I found the team very amicable and knowledgeable. They were very busy during my purchase experience, but gave me all the time I needed and treated me I found the team very amicable and knowledgeable. They were very busy during my purchase experience, but gave me all the time I needed and treated me with respect like a close friend. I felt very comfortable. Pricing was aggressive. There was no need to create competition with an alternate dealership. I felt the dealership made a very fair offer from the beginning and the buying process was much, much faster than other new car dealerships. Some dealerships ruin relationships during the negotiating process by consuming your time and trying to manipulate payment terms. This dealership was remarkably different. They were upfront, honest, and very professional. These folks see the purchase from the buyer's perspective. The approach at Serpentini creates confidence and trust for the buyer. The result for me is that I will look to this dealership for my next purchase for both personal and business vehicles. More
Deceptive misrepresentation My experience with Serpentini Orville was extremely poor. So much so, I would never consider purchasing another vehicle from the Serpentini group of My experience with Serpentini Orville was extremely poor. So much so, I would never consider purchasing another vehicle from the Serpentini group of dealerships again (I was a returning customer). I called specifically to discuss a used Buick Enclave on the lot. I spoke with the Internet Manager, Kathy. We spent time going over the Carfax report. During the conversation, she was insistent on trying to sell me on the dealership and when I mentioned I had purchased a vehicle from another Serpentini location, she brushed it off by saying that the Orville location is far better than the Tallmadge location. I thought that approach was a little odd but I let it go. Ultimately, I am more interested in the vehicle than the dealership but that didn't seem to matter. During our conversation, I told her I understood that I knew I was looking at a used vehicle but my standards were high when it comes to quality. I was assured that Serpentini wouldn't have such a good rating on DealerRater nor would they be considered for dealership of the year if they didn't have equally high standards. We agreed on an appointment time and I made the 40 mile drive to the dealership. Even though we had an appointment and asked for Kathy, she never took the time to come out an greet me and my family. We took a few minutes to look over the vehicle and it didn't take long to figure our that the Enclave was not in the condition I was assured it was. The lights and the setting sun didn't allow for a very good exterior inspection so another sales person brought the Enclave indoors so we could get a better look at it. I couldn't have been more disappointed. The number of scratches were unacceptable considering the conversation Kathy and I had and the expectations that were set. We never even got into the vehicle to see the interior. We felt it was best to get back in our car and return home. I think everyone just want to be treated with respect, honesty, and integrity. Wasting potential customers time and misrepresenting a vehicles condition is no way to sell cars. More
