I am a mother of two children and I do not know that much about cars. So, recently when I was traveling through Shrewsbury late one Friday afternoon and my van broke down with me and my two children in it, I about cars. Luckily I happened to be near Sentry West and I walked over to them and told them what had happened. They helped me get the car over to their service bays, and assured me that the problem could be fixed by the next day. I do not live in the area, I am from New Hampshire, so this was great news. They diagnosed the problem quickly and were working on it non-stop until it was fixed. I really felt I could trust them, and after they had a conversation with my husband to fill him in on the problem, we felt that fixing it right there was the right thing to do. The kids and I spent the night in a hotel recommended by Jim and he even gave us a ride over there! (the kids thought it was a mini-vacation). The next morning he picked us up and brought us back to the dealership where the van was working perfectly. The bill was not as much as I thought it would be, especially since the work was done so fast. When I got home I had my regular mechanic look over the bill and the work that was done. He was very satisfied that everything was done the way it should've been. I want to thank Sentry west for making a trying ordeal such a pleasant experience, and reminding me that there are some very nice people in this world! More
Have been coming here for 4+ years and always had great service both when I buy and in the service dept. They wash my car on every visit (I own a Mazda not a Lincoln but it seems everyone gets the luxury t service both when I buy and in the service dept. They wash my car on every visit (I own a Mazda not a Lincoln but it seems everyone gets the luxury treatment - sometimes dealers with more than one brand give short shrift to one or the other but these guys seem to keep it well balanced, and if anything it is greatest common denominator instead of the other way around). The service manager often helps me himself but the other people who work here are equally helpful & friendly. The dealership itself is nice and new but I don't feel like I'm paying for a Taj Mahal - oil change usually comes to the high $30s but I use their rewards program so it probably nets about $5-6 less than that. I have not had anything major break (except for an accident where I got rear ended, about $5000 in damage, which their body shop fixed for me & you'd never know it was in an accident). The only real negative for me is that I live in Marlborough and work in Natick, so I have to drive about 8 miles out of my way to go there. I like the place, but not enough to make me want to move to Worcester so it'd be more convenient. I have been to lots of other dealers and none of them as consistently good as these guys. Very little turnover, at least with the folks I deal with, so maybe that's why. More
The Service Advisor was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of my problem.. Parts were ordered in a timely manner. I was notified upon receipt of the parts and was promptly scheduled for an appoi knowledgeable of my problem.. Parts were ordered in a timely manner. The maintenance was top notch and I am completely satisfied with all the employees that I had contact with at Sentry West Lincoln Mercury/Mazda in Shrewsbury . The whole service experience has been great for me and for now over 3 years. Shawn was persistent but not invasive. I never felt pressured. At each step of my deliberation I felt he was listening and attempting to make it possible for me to own a Lincoln MKZ. We purchased a used 2008 Navigator from this dealer and was very surprised by the level of CS. You would expect the vehicle to come with two keyless remotes - we were told that we had to pay for them sepe was very surprised by the level of CS. You would expect the vehicle to come with two keyless remotes - we were told that we had to pay for them seperately ($300 ea) and then a $100 fee to program the remotes (our bad for not confirming before agreeing on the deal? I bought two factory remotes online for $50 and programmed them myself in 2min). You would expect that the vehicle would be "somewhat" clean when you take ownership of it - we had to request they wash/clean the interior. You would expect that they would provide the code for the keypad on the drivers door - they said they would charge us $25 for it. The F&I person was overly agressive trying to sell an extended warranty/fabric protection and would not take no for an answer - the GM actually came in and tried to sell it as well! Our "salesman" was maybe 20 years old and lacked any interpersonal skills. The oldest salesman looked to be no older than 25. The only reason we bought the vehicle from this dealership was the price. We will NOT use this dealership to service our vehicle. My advice - in today's environment CS is key to any relationship and this dealership has zero. Stay away if at all possible! If this is Ford's example of their luxury division it is no wonder they are in trouble. More
I had a completely different experience. I did not buy my Lincoln at this dealership because it was not yet open when I bought it, but they were nonetheless terrific. I had a weird noise that I couldn't quite figure out where it was coming from, and they had the mechanic drive the car with me so he could see what it was. (I forget what it was but it was covered by warranty with no issues). They gave me a car to use while it was fixed and the price for the brake job that I needed was the same as Midas quoted me two months ago.... so fives all around for me. I will definitely buy from them when my lease is up. More
got an oil leak fixed, they lost my first appointment, and told me i had an oil leak. well duh. then they 'fixed it'. still leaking returned to get it fixed again, this time they fixed it but broke my mir and told me i had an oil leak. well duh. then they 'fixed it'. still leaking returned to get it fixed again, this time they fixed it but broke my mirror off in the car wash and claimed it wasnt their fault and refused to repair it. also tried to get warranty work done and they refused after searching for an hour they found a scratch on the bumper i wanted repaired under warranty and claimed that its voided because i hit something. this place is a joke. More
