Glen, we are disappointed to hear about your mother’s experience. Looking into the visit, we see that she actually customized the deal and car options herself, and any additional “upcharges” were actually added with your mother’s consent in the initial purchase meeting. However, we will take responsibility for the misplaced paperwork as, like you stated, her original salesperson resigned from the company and did not leave the original paperwork with us. So we apologize for the confusing inconvenience for that. Regarding the physical paperwork, we do realize other dealerships may have opted for their choice of technology, but we pride ourselves in making sure a customer’s data security is a priority and therefore prefer being paper-based at this time. You mentioned a visit with our Finance Manager, Danny (not Jordan as you stated) where he tried to help with your mother’s situation. Because of your strong use of profanities and insults towards Danny during this meeting, you were asked to wait outside. We do not condone our employees to be treated this way, especially after trying to help complete a deal that was already negotiated and agreed to. We realized the stressful position your mother may have been in and offered her the option to discontinue the deal altogether. She opted to move forward. Despite our dealership’s commitment to accommodate customer needs and requests as much as possible, there are limits to what we can do. We hope to make things right with your mother in the future. To be honest, your response proves my point. Look at how belligerent, unprofessional and condescending it is. My mother had zero idea what the add-ons were, much less did she choose them. Even later, looking over the paperwork, she keeps asking what the extra charges are. The same attitude in this response is the same attitude any customer will deal with in this dealership. Your resources are aggressive and mean-spirited. We actually have already parted ways. My mother has the car, and can choose to get service elsewhere. There is no need for her to ever speak to you or your reprehensible collection of employees again. Her first visit was great because you took advantage of a kindly elderly woman. And Danny is absolutely lying. There was no profanity exchanged. Danny is simply an arrogant jerk who would not take responsibility for how disorganized your dealership is. He should never be allowed to deal with the public. He is sarcastic, unprofessional and gives the entire Toyota enterprise a negative image. By the way, I introduced myself to multiple resources and my name is most emphatically not "Gary."
