Just leased my wife a 2011 Camry. This is the third vehicle I have purchased from Michael Santangilo and David Maus Toyota. They have a wide selection of cars. the showmroom is nice and the people are friendly. I will most likely be buying a 4th car from them soon. I would recommend them to friends and family as well. Was great working with Mike he was very professioal and pleasant to work with. Mike covered all the items I asked about showed me all the goodies on the car that I has asked about. Went in with my '08 Yaris to get a lower monthly payment. The guys were so pleasant and extremely helpful. I couldn't have made a better decision than to buy from David Maus Toyota. Not only does he live up to his motto "Whatever it takes", so do his employees, especially Mark Dalton. He went above and beyond to ensure my buying experience was the best and he certainly delivered that, literally he delivered my brand new Rav4 to my house, about a hours drive from Sanford. What more could I ask for? The price he gave me, he stuck with! The Rav4 is such a beautiful shade of metallic red! Its the most comfortable and quiet Toyota I have ever owned. It handles with ease, I can clearly see all around me, its like it was made for me! I take great pride driving it. "Thanks David Maus for making it possible for me to afford the vehicle I have always wanted", and a hugh THANKS to Mark Dalton for driving to Lake City to pick it up, then back to Sanford, then to my house all in the same day! Mr. Santangelo saved me a significant sum of money, while simultaneously sending me away in a car, that is far nicer than I had anticipated being able to afford. It should also be noted that Michael drove almost an hour away to an alternate location from his regular place of business, in order to show me the specific vehicle I was interested in. Regarding pricing: I searched for the same car, via carfax (a report that was provided for me free of charge from David Maus) and was unable to find anything in the area for the same price - $2,000 more was the next closest offer available. I started my used car inquiry over the internet and got a series of informative emails from Matthew. I drove over 25 miles to the dealership, and found the entire staff very friendly and helpful. I was not rushed or pushed in anyway for my money, and even had no problems getting a test drive on my foreign driver's license ( I just arrived in the US ). David Maus claims to do 'whatever it takes' and I really went there to test this out. And they came through - I got a really good price on the car and sealed the deal on the spot. The only negative was that the card swiping machine at David Maus allows only credit card transactions, and so my debit card could not be swiped for the car sale. Ricky, my finance manager, sat through very patiently for more than an hour as I worked through Bank of America lines and figured out that a debit card has a credit limit of only 300 bucks, so there was no way to carry out this transaction. I had to return with a cashier's check. So this was the only minor blemish on an otherwise good buying experience. I was presented with an extended warranty, but not pushed at all and I found it very easy and nice to work with them. I will be returning there for my next purchase. I recommend you give them a look if you're finding your current dealer pushy and not giving you enough information. More

Michael was very up front about the vehicle and the price and worked with us through the whole process. He made it very easy and confortable to buy a new car. I had been all over Central Florida looking at cars at many different dealers and was so impressed by how professional and straight forward David Muas Toyota was. The other dealers would try to get us in the door and then would have all these other fees and changes. At one dealership I was left waiting in the lobby while they checked their inventory for 45min. At David Maus, there was always someone there to answer questions and to help me make my decision on a vehicle. More

Never again! I went in to have body work done on my vehicle, they did not finish the job in the time that was given to me. I had to go back over 3 times to get things fixed, the paint they use did not vehicle, they did not finish the job in the time that was given to me. I am an engineer, so I approached the purchase of a new vehicle from a very unemotional and [almost] impersonal perspective. For that reason I shopped many dealers through the Internet, establishing relationships through email communication and occasional phone conversations. My relationship with Mark Dalton was always relaxed and comfortable. He never made me feel like he was "selling" me something. One other BIG NAME dealer in Central Florida was my first choice (based on a CMMI DAR worksheet I had developed for the purpose of deciding). My warm relationship with Mark led me to extend to him the courtesy of a phone call to say, "I had decided to do business with someone else. Thanks for the great interpersonal relationship". But, true to their advertising, Mark went to 'David' to get confirmation that they could earn my business by matching all the criteria in my DAR that had listed the other dealership as my first choice. Top among them was an outstanding financing rate. But that was not the end. During the experience of ordering the vehicle and later finalizing the transaction, Mike Santangelo along with EVERY EMPLOYEE IN THE CHAIN truly made me feel important; very special. I really did not feel like just a big walking dollar sign - like so many auto dealerships tend to portray. Everyone of the numerous employees, rushing about in the huge David Maus facility on Rinehart Road, seems to honestly recognize the value of a customer. They act as though their job depends upon my satisfaction. I entered the process of purchasing a car with no prejudice or emotion. I was not influenced at all by advertising or rumor. After spending time with several dealers in my area, I was completely taken aback by the fantastic attitude all the David Maus employees share. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you do not consider David Maus. For a Toyota, be sure to visit the great facility in Sandford (where the service department even has a small eatery and coffee shop!). Immediately ask to see Mark Dalton or Mike Santangelo and reference THIS REVIEW for the best service you will get anywhere! More
