Buying a car has never been a great experience for me until I bought my new 2012 Passat from David Maus VW South. My initial interaction with them was on the phone with Samir, the internet consultant who until I bought my new 2012 Passat from David Maus VW South. My initial interaction with them was on the phone with Samir, the internet consultant who responded to my initial inquiry. Over the phone her was polite and actually listened. I told him exactly what I needed, what I wanted to test drive, the time I would be at the dealership the next day and how much I needed to get for my trade to make the deal work. I also told him his competition. The next day I walkeded into the dealership, met with Samir and within minutes was on my first test drive. Within half an hour had completed two test drives and within an hour had initial #'s. Samir and I went back and forth twice during the face-to-face negotiation and once over the phone as I left the dealership. Not once did I feel pressured to make the sale at that moment or at an exact time. Over the phone I told him the per month price we needed to be and he did it. Within 30 minutes I was back at the dealership buying my new car. The overall experience was exceptional but the guys in financing were "typical". Pressuring me into buying extended warranties and gap insurance and lowering finance charges and using "coupons". As a sales professional myself I hate the tactic of going back and forth. Bottom line price up front and let's be done. With Samir and buying the car I got this. With the finance guys I struggled to get out with my initial payment intact but did in the end. If these guys would have listened a little more it would have made the entire experience flawless. With that said, Samir was great and the overall experience was much better than avereage. Highly recommend it. More
We had bought our daughter a new Corolla and the service was great at that time, but then when we took her car in for service it was a different story. What happened to all the customer service once the sal was great at that time, but then when we took her car in for service it was a different story. What happened to all the customer service once the sale was made. This was only the second time we had taken her car in for service, and it will be the last. The service rep was so rude to us just because we did not have an appointment. I understand that they are very busy, but my daughter had driven all the way from Gainesville just to get her car serviced. They did not do a proper inspection of the vehicle, because she had issues with her car within a week that should have been caught at the time they serviced her car. David Maus Toyota emphasis their service which I say after the sale there seems to be a lack of. Due to this fact we will not buy another vehicle from them. More

David Maus service department is such a rip off. I had my Sienna serviced at 97,000 including timing belt and water pump which they recommended replacing while the timing belt was replaced. 37,000 miles my Sienna serviced at 97,000 including timing belt and water pump which they recommended replacing while the timing belt was replaced. 37,000 miles later they told me my water pump was leaking and needed replacing. Really? I picked up the car and took to another Toyota dealer in the Orlando area. Guess what I did not need a water pump it was not leaking. I also can't stand when you pull up and there are a dozen sales people out front waiting for you when you get out of the car. This place is bad. Think about it. They have to rip you off in the service department to afford all that advertising they do. I will NEVER go back again. Please beware of the service department. More

Just bought a new 2011 Toyota Highlander from David Maus. Howard was my sales person and was awesome. Everyone I encountered from Howard to Nick and Mike (the other sales people that helped make the deal happen), to the finance people, customer service manager and training manager were all great to work with. I usually hate buying cars but David Maus dealership was a pleasure. Definitely earn a 5 star rating as service was great from start to finish. More
The service was truly amazing. I didn't buy my car here but needed it to be service and WOW I was surprised. They had a nice lobby area n even a cafe if me and my husband got hungrey. Mike made me fill comfortable and that I was is good hands. He even talk to me about things on my car that the dealership I bought it from didn't talk about. He was really friendly and if I ever needed anything for the car or future plans on a vehicle I would see him frist. That was truly great customer servie. I think that if there was a higher rating chart hands down they would be the best. The only thing was that I wish the prices for service was just a little better but I guess I can't complain when I got derive like that Great job mike!!! More
I started shopping around on the internet for a car approximately three weeks before I finally went into David Maus Toyota Dealership. I was not rushed or over-powered by fast talking sales people. Cedrick was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. After the purchase Cedrick explained all the features of the car. I now drive a 2011 Toyota Camry LE. Thank you Cedrick Dinkins for making buying a car a stress-free experience. More

Not once during this time was he pushing anything on us. We told him our budget and he did everything he could to help us maintain it. I like it very much when sales personnel don't pressure the buyer. We closed the deal this past Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed purchasing a car from David Maus and Ricky Norris in particular. He had a great smile and we worked together in very relaxed atmosphere which my wife prefers. Once we agreed on the purchase we worked with David Lange in finance and he was informative, positive, honest, and a pleasure to work with. When I picked up the car Ricky Norris and Lendle were most helpful in explaining everything about the vehicle. Finally, it is well worth the hour and a half drive to David Maus. There dealership is outstanding and I would definitely refer any of my friends there. A great experience. More
