Lied about completing safety inspection. Wipers don’t work. I bought a used car from David Maus Toyota because I thought they had a good reputation. I could have gotten a cheaper used car for my 17 year old son I bought a used car from David Maus Toyota because I thought they had a good reputation. I could have gotten a cheaper used car for my 17 year old son at a corner used car lot but we spent more (10,000) to get a decent used car at a reputable dealership. I was told a safety inspection was completed. This should in the least include making sure the wind shield wipers work. The tires should also be safe. My son found out the wind shield wiper did not work in the middle of a rain storm. The tires were also dry rotted and as soon as he started driving on them they began to split. To make matters worse when I went to get new tires at a tire place they could not remove them because David Maus sold the car without the key to unlock the tires. The used sales manager was so rude he was not willing to take any responsibility and even suggested that my son lost the key. They would not fix the wind shield wipers since I bought the car used. Beware buying a car from David Maus. They do not care about their customers or the product they sell or they would not be putting unsafe vehicles on the road and almost killing my son. More
